Got this to day left a message. said they were a bill collections. and to call this number and that is all.

Same as Jim........don't answer it, or call back!

Same message as Jim, said  they were debt collectors and call the number.  Do they just call a bunch of numbers and hope some are really people who have overdue bills?

Got call from this number. Said it was collection agency. We owe no debt at all!!! Bogus!!! Beware!!!!! We called the number back to get this number off their list and they made us wait 10 minutes and then hung up on us. No answer 2 more times, either! Phishers???? Beware!!!!

We got a call and message from this number and don't know why.  I'm not wasting my time on hold.

They wanted my name and social security number. Why are they still allowed to do this?

Just called.  When I answered the recorded call said they were a debt collector and to call them.  I have no debt.  I did not call.  Identified themselves as ELS ECC.  I am on the donotcall.gov list.  Why are they allowed to call?

Just like others received call...said debt collections have no delinquencies....tried to call back message just continues

man told me they have my number and it may or may not be the correct number but wouldnt say who they were looking for and I wouldnt give him my name. I told him to remove my number from their fishing list and never to call back as I have call tracers that can pinpoint the brick and mortar location and I have no problem traveling :)

Got a call like everyone else from the same number, and don't owe anyone anything, and yet they want me to call them back.  Don't do it.  They are probably getting paid somehow for calling them back and waiting on hold.  I'm also on the DNC listing that apparently isn't working. So ridiculous.

The DNC does not apply to debt collection. It only applies to telemarketers, IE: sales and service. Debt collectors fall under the FDCPA/FCRA laws.

Debt Collection agencies fall under state and federal FDCPA, FCRA and others while not performing deceptive,abusive, and unfair business practices.
