My parents recieved a call from number 8442854714 saying that if i didnt report to court i would be arrested at my job or home first of all i don't live with my parents how do they know their number we live in different states.. As far as i know i don't have any problems cour wise or any other matter.. I called back the number several times just a busy signal so is this a scam!!! My parents are ederly one can only imagine how they are feeling is ashame all theses scams out here but still how can i find out who was this person???

I just got a call asking for my sister from that same number. They said the SAME exact thing. I told them I didnt know who they were referencing. My sister is in NO trouble with the law. Liars.

Get these calls all the time.  SCAMMERS!  Trying to scare people into giving money they don't owe.
They come from overseas most the time.  I don't answer them.  If they want to bring the cops, bring them.  If they want to take me to court, take me.  I am tired of the threatening phone calls and I don't care.

Too many rip off people out there.  Don't give anyone private information and DEMAND they send you information regarding whatever they are trying to say they are collecting.

They have called my relatives as well supposedly this is Nationwide Arbritators they call from different numbers. They call from 718 numbers which is a New York number, they block out their number at first. I ignore it. When they called at first they were calling for my husband now they are calling for me with the same speel about charges being filed in the county where I live, last phone call they tried to make it sound like it was someone calling from the circuit court where I live. Yeah right. Ok don't worry about these fools they call relatives to scare them and you. Ignore them

Yeah same thing here only it was my brother they called, then left a voicemail on my sons phone. They full of you know what. It is a scam they call from a 718 number sometimes too which is a New York number. I wouldn't even call them back even after they contacted relatives. Its always you got 72 hours to respond, watch how long that goes on like 2 years with the same amount of time to respond. Supposedly this is Nationwide Arbritrators. Never heard of them but if it is a collection agency those practices are unethical.

Got a call from this number saying to respond with the complaints in clark county court against me within 24 hours . I searched this number it is a scam number. These people trying to scare and collect money and they are liars. And i never commit a crime.Saying his name is bradley smith.

Called my phone as a Bradley Smith. Said i had pending charges. Said I had 24 hours to respond or I would be picked up by the appropriate authorities. [***].

They are debt collectors they use scare tactics and try to belittle you

Threatened to take me to court for 3 counts of fraud

Some woman called my wife and claimed she owed 350 dollars for a payday load that was almost 10 years old.  She claimed she was with Global Processing, and the address for this company is actually a pizza place.  When I spoke to her, I believe she said she was Kimberly, I explained that nobody goes after a 350 dollar debt for ten years, and that I used to work in predatory lending and worked all my court cases, and it just wasn't cost effective, and there came a point in time when I just had to cut my losses.  She claimed my wife had warrants out for her arrest, 3 "pending" charges.  I explained to this woman that even if this was real, it was a civil matter, and nobody goes to jail over these things...ever!  They refused to give me any information regarding the situation, but wanted my money by credit card over the phone only.  I found out these people are liars and thieves, and turned it over to the proper authorities.  They operate out of Charlotte, NC, and that would be the proper jurisdiction to report them under.

There is no threat of you going to jail.  Even if it was real....civil matter only.  Nobody is going to jail.

I have an investigator Jefferson calling me from this place wanting my payment to Global for my cash now.com.  unfortunately in my earlier years I wasn't as money conscious and opened several payday loans, almost fell for it until I started looking up the names and the fact he was stupid enough to call from a restricted number and leave message for a local number. Way too shady. I appreciate yalls input, helped me, hope mine will help others.
