IRS scam call

I didn't answer and my voicemail is disabled precisely for this reason.  If it's the IRS scam call, that is no prank call, but criminal identity thieves trying to steal your identity.  Thank you for that info, Ingrid.

Why are you waiting for someone else to save the day? You'll be waiting a long time. Why don't you control your own phone? The Do Not Call list stops legitimate telemarketers. Criminals do not know how to read so they do not pay it any attention. So for them do not answer unknown calls and do not call them back. Also do not call them back. *67 does not work on toll free numbers like 844.

Just got a call from that number, of course I didn't answer, it went to my voice mail and this time it was an American male voice, not the usual Nigerian accent.  Requested I call back, which I won't.  I will report this number to the IRS.

message said I was hiding an important federal file...omg- I didnt even KNOW I was doing that! LOL! They are now blocked from my world.

I got a call and it said. “Hiding from the federal government this needs to be rectified immediately so do return the call as soon as you receive this message on our toll-free number the number is 844-286-2197 again 844-286-2197 thank you…”    Someone needs to stop these people

Got calls from this number all year saying I committed fraud, but no letter from the IRS.  Thank you for the confirmation that these are scammers!!
