These people are claiming that they are the IRS. Called my cell looking for someone I never even heard of. When I said I did not know that person they hung up.  Can not speak good English to where you can understand what they are saying.  Beware of this.

Got a call from this number leaving a message to call the IRS, didn't speak good english.  I called back, first call no answer, called again a bit later and got someone who asked if I prepare my taxes or someone else does.  Told me I owe $7,985.and I had two choices, I could pay or go with my criminal attorney to the federal building in Washington to argue this.  I got mad and told them I would investigate. this.  FRAUD?

Left a robotic sounding voice mail, claiming to be the IRS. Claiming warrant and criminal charges...did not say who warrant was for. Last I checked, the IRS sends letters or pays you a visit, they don't leave barely intelligible voicemail. Bogus/Scam/Why did I waste my time.

got this call from the IRS a robotic call stating to call this number before action is taken upon us. never said a name or anything. At the end of the call they say have a nice day....SCAM......

Robotic call from Nikki Johnson demanding I or my attorney call her at the Divion number 844-286-6033 immediately & alluding to consequences if not done ASAP

Called from this # as well.  Robotic voice-mail telling me to "return call immediately to avoid prosecution."
I wish they would answer....ideal play their game and get them all excited, while making up a fake cc # .....lol

Yet another fake IRS scam. Uses computer generated voice, probably to hide the accent. India feds just (10/4/2016) busted a call center in Mumbai with 750 employees doing exactly this.

Fake call pretending to be IRS

Saying a lay suit was filed against me and a warrant to call back and didnt even say my name on message or anything.

Just got a call today at 11:45am from this number.  I did not answer as scam calls are rampant and I'm so sick of them.  Thanks for this website.  They did leave a message, Office Robert Edwin from the Internal Revenue Service.  Even the message was automated.

I actually called the number back from my business phone and they answered in a foreign voice, "good morning, internal revenue service".  LOL!  I told him to stop the scam and that I was going to report them to the police.  He hung up immediately.

I got the same exact call today

Caller said he was from the IRS and I was under investigation. Spoke poor English and asked if I had been contacted by the sheriff department, before hanging up/being disconnected

Just received call from robotic voice saying I am under tax fraud investigation.  Voice said he was officer Johnson from irs.

This number called and said it was an officer Robert Williams/Edwin not sure of the last name. So I called this number back and a man with a foreign answered and I asked for the officer was in a meeting and then put me on hold, a few minutes went by and then he dropped the call. Well then I called back and this time (the same man) put me on hold, when he came back he started to ask personal question ( my n as me date of birth, and then asked for SS#). I did not give him any of the information, he then told me that if he didn't get the information he requested I'd have a federal warrant out for my arrest. Then I told him that the IRS doesn't call people and that are he is not the IRS.

Just got the call if i didn't pay the money i woukd be arrested immediately. Told them they called my father in law last year with the same threat. Whats weird to me is I just got my taxes back today

Just got the same call 10 mins ago. Smh something really needs to be done about this.
