This number purports itself to be "CRA" Canada Revenue Agency. the caller said his name is Raymond Scott and he is a fraud artist trying to steal money from innocent people.

This number called my Wife. The caller claimed to be from the Canada Revenue Agency. He immediately started swearing at my Wife and claimed the Police were on their way to arrest both of us. He knew both my our names.

This person is a pathetic low life, don't fret over it. If you do rec. a call,  please call the Local Police and report it. If you manage to find out where the caller lives, please let me know as I would love to "speak" with him.

There have been 3 messages from "CRA" on my answering machine over the past 3 weeks, with the most recent call coming today.  There was an article in the local newspaper last week which warned the public of this "CRA" scam.   Do not return these calls.

Fraud, do not respond

Recorded message stating that they are from CRA (Canadian Revenue Agency).  Prompts you to call back the number immediately or else a bailiff will be coming to your door and seizing your possessions etc.  This is a scam just hang up

Received 2 calls from someone named Brian Walker from cra  - played a recording claiming that we had unpaid taxes and that the rcmp would be contacted within 24 hours to issue an order to attend court.  When questioned - he promptly hung up.   What a jerk!

just got this phone call, pressed 1 to talk to someone, sounded like some east indian telemarketing scam, nobody responded so hung up and google searched the #.... can only imagine some old people being scammed though, why would you do this to other people?

I received 2 automated calls today (2 previous as well), all with difficult to understand male digital voices sounding Canadian. If he gave his name it didn't come through at beginning of call. After his spiel he asked me to press 1 or 9.  I also received a call today from  Officer Jonathan Knight at 6136992403. He was an actual person with an accent, that wasn't British or Canadian or American. He said to call him back ... I was under investigation and gave no other number.

This number called and a recorded message said I was to call another number as I owed CRA $.

Recorded message saying to call 1-844-288-0711 CRA. Going to seize bank account and assists for money owing. We don't owe CRA any money.

I also received a recorded phone number from this number.  Heavy digital male voice saying I will soon receive a visit from CRA reps as we have defaulted on some payment to a company ....  Ferrari??  Press a button to speak to a representative.  Are they kidding??  They did not even use a name...  just "You".  Wow.  Some older person is going to have a heart attack when they get this call!!  Nasty person!!

I just talked to Roger Clark who informed me that my husband has been audited by CRA and we owe over $3000 in back taxes.  I told him I'd have our accountant call him but he refused and said the CRA will sue us for 10x the amount. When I told him I'd see him in court he said an RCMP officer will be at my door today. I told him I'd have coffee and cake ready

I received a call from Dennis Stein, purporting to be calling on behalf of the CRA.  This fellow had a decidedly middle eastern accent.  He said that my husband owed taxes and penalties to the CRA in the amount of $5,140 and if payment was not made immediately, the police would arrest us.  He said that failure to pay would result in legal action with penalties of up to $75,000.  He also said not to tell anyone about the call.  I asked for his number, which he gave as 1-844-288-0711.

At first it was very upsetting. I now know it was a scam.  Mr. Stein can go F himself.

Just recieved a call from this number, sounded very strange and once i asked if this was the real CRA, the man got frustrated and then said yes and when i said i would search the number he hung up immediately. LOL is all i can say, what an idiot! DONT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK!

I have received a call twice today with a very poorly recorded message saying it was the CRA collections and someone from their office would be visiting soon to see what they can collect! Called the CRA and it is indeed a scam!

Message on my answering machine to call Canada Revenue Agency regarding Tax Owing Audit and immediate legal action if I did not return the call immediatly . The caller was very difficult to understand and tried to sound threatening .Total scam since all revenue phone # are 1 888 . I hope if they call back again I can have have some fun with them to see how fast they hang up .

Just talked to an accented woman from "CRA"  ..  haha...  yup,   RCMP on the way over to my door  "real soon"....

Reported to be CRA. Threatened police and passport cancellation, for unpaid taxes. What a fraud.
