This number is calling my job and I can't receive personal phone calls

I received a call from this number about a debt. It is for certain a scam. No legit debt collector can threaten to come to your house.

I got a call from this number.. threatened a bench warrant and $100 every time someone comes to serve papers.. the  call back number was different than the woman who called me. when I called the number back i was told they were closed n to leave a message with my social security number.. well I dont care who it is, i dont leave my social on a vm or anywhere else for that matter. Several other numbers seem to be connected with this same sort of call.

yes, just received a call from Melinda James the number she left was 844-299-7263, saying the sheriff was coming to serve me with a summons between 2-4 today and that I would charged $75.00 each time they attempted to serve me.
Oh and that I should have my photo id ready.

Got a call from someone who said he was a process server.  He and a sheriff were coming between 4 and 5.  
He said he attempted once so it''s $100.00 already.
He said if I miss my court date then I get a bwnch warrant.

Typical scammer BS.  If you're going to be served a court summons, the process server just shows up.  He doesn't call you and keep telling you he'll be there.  And the "two forms of ID" and money owed for an alleged "failed" service are just ridiculous.  Please do report this yahoo to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General.  You may also want to notify your local police department.
