They just called again.  What morons.  I mean really, how stupid do they think we are.  I twittered the number to the Treasury Department and told them to put a trace on the number.  Do you think they will do anything????  Anyone taking odds?

No, I wasn't fooled.  Especially with that accent.  It was obviously a boiler room.  I forgot to have my phrases in Hindi on hand to compliment them NOT.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I call them back from multiple numbers and harass them.    They claimed to be from Washington DC and that I owed the IRS $5372.95, for back taxes and penalties, then told me that someone would be at my house in 45 minutes to arrest me.  I tried to bait them, but they just hung up.  They have now hung up on me 6 different times and are blocking my cell phone number.  They won't even take a call from it.   I have a CPA do my taxes just to protect myself for the little itemization we actually do utilize, and just for the extra protection against me making an error, even though I'm pretty sure I could actually file my own.  I just figure, why take the risk for the price it costs to have them done professionally?  Time to report them to the IRS, although I doubt there is much they can do if the number is originating overseas.

They could track that as it is a landline and even at that I don't hide anything.  I didn't have time to stay at the house this morning, but someone is there, so now I am going to call them back to tell them that the officer of the court never showed...  LOL!!!

I just keep calling back with a annoying message from a text to speech website.  I've called back 10 times now.  Best thing is, I work late so I can call back at all hours to annoy them.  If nobody from the government is going to do anything about it at least I can use it for entertainment.

I did the online FCC complaint then called that 844 number about 65 times yesterday.  Today, the number is disconnected.  I explained on a couple of occasions when I would call that as long as I was on that line, they couldn't scam anyone else.  #1 response I got yesterday was "You are wasting my time" in a thick accent.  Priceless.  Gotta fight back!
