My aunt got a call from a 978-272-9732 (Rebecca Smith it said on the caller I'd) and the left her a claim # and 844-350-1555 and said to have me call or there will be legal actions taken with my job if I didn't respond immediately! I refuse to answer this as no info has be left as to who is actually calling and why!

My friend got a call asking if he knew me but the name they had was an old name. They want me to call within an hour with the file number they gave. When i called back i got an answering service saying leave a message

Got a call from 914-205-8500 giving me a case number and that legal action was being filed against me. Google area code, its from NY and I live in Texas. Called the number 1-844-350-1555 as directed, gave case number, lady wanted my SSN. I first gave her a set of random numbers and she said thank you mister MaDickiner, you've been verified. Then I proceeded to ask her what this was about and whom was filing legal action on me. She said she couldn't devolve that information, but insisted I make a payment or be subjected to lawsuit papers being served at my job or home. Next I informed her that I was in the "services business" especially that of the female, entertainment kind and would gladly be willing to trade some of my employees services off to "pay" the debt. Clearly frustrated the woman said, "Are you offering me sex with a woman?" and I said, "No, I am offering you company that usually costs 200+ dollars an hour, depending on your requests." She seemed appalled so I offered her my services in place of there's, since she didn't want enjoy a woman's "company". Again, she became frustrated and I may have heard, "This mother!@#$# !@#hole is a pimp". Finally, before hanging up in a rage, I informed her that I had family in New York, I would be up next month to visit, I had googled the address of the phone number she was calling from, knew the area and that my Pimp hand is very strong. That was the end of the call, hope to hear from her again soon, she sounded hot. - caller: PAS Legal

I just got this call to and was given a "case number" and phone number to call or would be 'served papers within the hour'. What is this? I tried to call the number and refused to leave a message on the recorder. I have no court events or tickets, etc. Will see if someone shows up in an hour, I suppose.

A relative in another state got a call on their unlisted cell phone number telling them to have me call the 844-350-1555 number and provide a file number they left.  They threatened to send court papers to my work if I don't redpond.  Same as the other people on this site.  It's a scam.

The fact that they're doing what's called 'third-party calling' to try and get a hold of you proves that

Another site has reported:

"This company has several offices, not just at the Fairview St location. They are also at 1820 E Garry Ave #107, Santa Ana, CA 92705 and “Worldwide Asset Recoveries LLC” is at 2641 Hamner ave #209 Norco Ca. They have another office in Huntington Beach as well. All scam offices ran by James Trent."

Apparently Trent's employees are considered independent contractors.  So their compensation is based on their own individual performance, they don't get a salary per se.    Which explains a lot of the rudeness and law violations that occur with these companies.
