The female contacted me and stated that she was calling regarding "charges that are being filed." She left a call back number of 844-368-9215 ext 1 and a "case" number. This is a debt collector not a criminal matter.

she called me asking for tiffany and left a case number, partial SSN.  I don't even know a tiffany.  Weird

same thing just happened to us,

female left a message saying that i have been warned about what ask that i call back

They have called me twice the first time the "legal Papers" were being sent the next day(HA!) the second one was giving me one last chance to clear this  legal matter up before the end of business.. just ignore. They will eventually stop calling...

A Maria Sanchez keeps calling regarding papers that are going to be served tomorrow.  The name is Portfolio Business Management.  Number (844) 368-9215.  Total scam artist Ms. Sanchez.  Go ahead file what you want.  I certainly hope Portfolio Business Management has a large insurance policy as they are going to need it when I'm done with your sad A$$.

These people called my cell phone and than my work phone looking to serve me with papers I had no knowledge about. They new my maiden name as well as the last 4 of my SSN. They tried stating I owed a debt and they are an arbitration company. I asked who for and what it was about and while continuously pressing the issue because they wouldn't give more than the name of a company they hung up. This happened a few months back about the same company. When I called the actual company they informed me it was a SCAM and not to pay these people a dime!!!

Seems like Portfolio, a debt collection agency using deceptive calls to get people to call and start the statue of limitations all over again, even after serving them with a cease and desist letter, which will aid in my law suit against them. Don't fall for it, the lady is NOT associated with any legal entity, just someone from the telemarketing pool.

I got a call today stating the same thing and saying they will serve me on my job. I am waiting for them to so I can sue them.

Everyone keep the messages they send to you and get an attorney with the harassing phone calls. Then sue them for damages.

I had a person to call me today at 12:31pm and they told me they were going to serve me papers at my home within the next hour. I sat outside my home from 12:31pm until 4pm. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP!!!! They told me it was from a payday loan company that was dated back in 2007. They told me that it went into collections since 2012. I don't owe this company nor any payday loan company any money. I have a reason to believe they are incahoots with the company called Klein Financial Group aka/or Cornerstone Resolution Group. I have contacted Cornerstone and they have never heard of either company.

I have done my research and they are not allowed you to threaten you with charges. Also a payday loan company is not a financial institution.

if they take you to court it will be thrown out as they knowingly accept a bad check.

This number just called me and left a message that said it was a debt collector and to get a lawyer. Stupid me I call back and he says a lawsuit has been filed against me by the IRS for being a fraud lmao I said I don't know what u are talking about! So he says ok I will have the police come and arrest u in the next 1/2 hour at such and such an address that I don't even live at. Luckily at that time my mom came outside and told me it was a scam and Google the # and here I am!! Never gonna call back debt collectors again!! I don't have any debt so I wanted to know what the hell it was!!

Thanks for the laugh today stupid scammer - wish I had more time to rip you a new one for disturbing and wasting my time with your lame attempt at trying to scam me.  Anyone who receives one of this calls, please remember that it is not real and they are trying to threaten and extort money from you.
