- Sheri StoneI received a call from this number and they left a voice message saying he was Mark Morgan and was going to serve me papers either at my home or place of employment next week. He did not say what he was calling for.

- Kat3751I got a call from this this "lawyer" who sounded like he was on a cell phone and had a frog in his throat saying he was going to server papers Like stated above. The number came up private and gave that number (844-429-6400) to call his number sounded like a cell phone and sounded like he was outside the name he gave was Gerick Davis.. Sounds very fishy to me
- dfwsunkingJust got the same call from someone who also sounded like a frog and referred to himself as "Jack Davis". I take it no one was actually served were they? It's obviously a ruse to get us to sh*t ourselves and call. Whatever...
- KSA cara Thomas is calling me and stating that she has paperwork that she is supposed to give me from CRG and it is for a claim against me for a written check.
I am in my 30s and have never had a check in my name to write...
I like how they call from "unknowN" so I can't block their number like in the past.
These people have been doing this for over a year to me with different names, numbers, case numbers. I called the courthouse and they told me one of the case numbers was from a speeding ticket when I was 16!!!
Losers have no other things to do.- Caller: CRG
- Not DumbThis cat Allen called a place of business, my parents home phone, and fortunately we block private numbers on our cell phones. They are going to serve papers--FIRST of all they can not serve anything--A process server or the Sheriff's department has to serve papers. Any legitimate business doesn't mark their number private and they don't leave information such as serving papers on a generic voice mail that doesn't say you have reached the intended party. Their call is scripted and they are reading the information because it is the same message on every number they have. They are trying to collect on debts that are outside of the statute of limitations and aren't legit. These scum bags have officially been reported and I suggest everyone do the same

- FedgirlReceived call from Joe Burns. This is a scam! Who do you know gets a call that they have paperwork you need to sign? I have gotten this call from several numbers 844-372-9828 they called a family member and left that number (no creditor may call family members) and 716-382-7925 the name given was Jason WIlliams. All these calls are concerning a credit card I have not had in over 15 years. Also I was employed by the Federal Government for over 30 years and nobody needs to look for me. Let's get these suckers!!!!! If they contact a Senior they will upset them. This needs to STOP!!!!!!!!!

- South texas replies to FakeClaims,| 1 replyGot the same call from Jason Williams saying he was going to serve my wife. Almost fell victim to these horrible people. Good thing I back searched the phone number and was able to find these comments. Thank you all so much for taking the time to warn people. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. No website, no emails, no letters!
- WolfmanJack replies to South texasThis is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, etc. all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
