- Kathy| 1 replyThis called for an immediate restitution for an old debt that has been discharged thru bankruptcy. They try to scare you with the serving summons and threaten to serve you at work, if not home to receive it. This is a scam. I contact my lawyer right away and they confirmed it...
- Caller: Bondsman Brian McAfrey thru Schuler and Associates
- LaurieJust got a call from Brian Maccafrey for Gordon Halliday, saying a summons will be served tomorrow for charges filed in court against me.

- Pissed off| 4 repliesIt was some man who was in uniform he wasn't a cop though because he did not have a gun belt and when I asked for identification he did not show me a badge. Then he handed me a piece of paper explaining I was being sued in Riverside County by this firm. I'm not giving any personal information over this website because my attorney has instructed me not to but I have contacted my attorney and we'll see what he says I have faxed him the paperwork I have received.
- U.R.Fullofit replies to Pissed offSo at least you can tell us the name of the firm that is suing you & in which judicial district. What company employed the summons server? SO--- in other words, you did not pay a bill!!?????!!
SHILL ALERT!!! Funny how you just happened to find this thread!! - ReallyfullofitSooo.... Breach of legal bound contract in Riverside County for a student loan? Not making too much sense! If it was for a debt, then it would state it's for a debt. On this piece of paper, just one right, it said you are being sued? Normally summons are more than that. What company is suing you?
- TheHolyHandGrenade replies to Pissed offNice mess up on the "chicken or the egg" type statement.
"I'm not giving any personal information over this website because my attorney has instructed me not to but I have contacted my attorney and we'll see what he says I have faxed him the paperwork I have received."
Your attorney instructed you not to post information, but you contacted your attorney and faxed him. Uh, 'kay.. You must be a rookie scammer. Next time write it all down first. Read it over to make sure your chain of events are all in a row so you are positive it all sounds legit. Wait, you did that already didn't you.. No wonder your scam is tanking. - FoodForThought replies to KathyI think it is a scam. What can they possibly be going after if the debt was discharged? Sounds a little fishy
- CWG40 replies to Pissed offWant to tell us what sort of papers you got?
Tell us:
1. Name of plaintiff
2. Name address and phone number of Plaintiff's attorney
3. Name of court
4. Location of court. State and county please.
5. Case #
6. Date case was filed.
You can't object, since law cases are public record.
Excuse me, but if he wasn't a cop, why did he have a uniform? Process servers normally wear only street clothes. Yes, you can hire a Sheriff's deputy to serve civil process in many counties, but why would a person where a uniform and not be a member of the local law enforcement agency.
Oh, and if you'd been served for a civil case, you would receive a Summons and Complaint with all the information on it. You wouldn't just receive a piece of paper.
Your story doesn't make a whole lot of sense. - CWG40Claim to be some sort of law office, Schollier or something like that. Not clear. Most likely not a law office but some sort of debt scamming operation. I suspect they are probably in Riverside County or nearby.

- Badge714| 1 replyI'm going to put on my Starfleet uniform & go hand that guy a piece of paper. Seeing how he believes everything you give him. Should I use blue crayon or black crayon to make it look official? Luckily the McDonald's tray paper is blank on one side. Darn! I always make the 'S's backwards. Hope he doesn't notice.
- YouGotReportedThis company with this number and the names that were provided, Brian Mcaffrey, Gordon Holiday, Shuller or Schiller, or Shollier and associates (Too many ways that can be spelled), the number they called from. Have been now reported to the FTC,BBB, and going to be reported on any other claim form I can find that attaches them to the government. So let's see who is telling the truth now!
- Funny replies to Badge714It was probably the Pizza guy in uniform!!!!
- PookieOokie replies to Pissed offUsing vulgarity as your screen name is not necessary no matter what. Thank you. [:]
- HereToHelpI was looking for complaints on phone numbers that began with 844-462 and so many of them came up stating the same things. Some one posing as an official states that they are going to send you a summons. Well, I have never heard of a company stating that they are going to serve you, they just serve you. With anything that goes with the government or court system, everything should be in writing. I would think if they know your address, then they would send you some type of correspondence stating that you may be served.
- ConcernedThey have a lot of my info. Possibly from an old debt I had. But they are threatening my family and employment. Their way of contacting me doesn't seem professional from a law office. I am going to also report them
- Caller: Schiller and Associates
- UnknownWe will be reporting them to the Attorney General. Bankruptcy clients have been getting harassed by these people and when you call them they are nasty and rude and demand things. They have been telling people they are looking for them do they can have them served. LIES!!! SCAMS!!!! 844-621-8272
