Said they were with the IRS... said they have a lawsuit against me,please call back.. when I call and they answer, they hang up when I dont cooperate.

The same call just came to our answering machine.  I ignored it.  They did not identify the person to whom the call was directed.  I'm sure it would frighten some vulnerable people to hear a message that said the IRS had a lawsuit against them!  Don't respond to them! Area code 844 is not a toll free number.

Left (VM) message warrant out for arrest from the IRS. Goggled phone number's: 260-984-0009, 310-933-0184, 310-741-8183, & 844-490-0728 - not IRS.  Can't government do something about this scam??

Besides carpet bombing the country(Ies) where they originate to make sure they get them all? Not really. These scams almost all originate overseas in countries that care little about our laws and where scamming US is seen as a worthwhile job.

My very elderly father got the same call (the IRS has filed a lawsuit against you).  It upset him very much. When I called the number they hung up on me.

I just got a call from this same number stating we are being sued by the IRS, it's all a scam, can't the government stop these types of calls....Please

Got the same call at 2:30 this afternoon to disturb my nap😕 Have learned to ignore these irritating scans, but hoping the system can put a stop to them

Today,(9/01/2016) I got a message left on my A/M, a male "robotic nasal voice" said he was an Officer from the IRS and has filed a lawsuit against me and sternly said I should call him back at 844-490-0728... Yeah, right Mr. Officer...

This just happened to us and they said they  were cancelling my husbands drivers license and sending out a warrant completely rude.

Message said to all 844 409-0728, were going to sue me & I better call back immediately. I wish these low life scammers would get a real job!

You should consider getting your father a call blocker-they're not that much and it would help the situation.

I got the exact same message a few minutes ago. You would think after calling the same number for at least 4 years now, they would give up. I'm not nice at all when I speak to them.

IRS scammer left message threatening lawsuit. Constant nuisance calls. If it's not IRS, it's Microsoft calling.  And why do the callers always have an accent that one would identify as being from the Indian continent? Oh, must be careful. PC police might frown on such innuendo.

Call from a non-native speaker. Very hard to understand. Said was with the IRS and we would be sued.

Got the same message on voicemail, that we were being sued by IRS, and i needed to call back! Ridiculous!
