Yes it is a debt collection agency. Just got a call, but they wouldn't identify themselves so I called back.

Call but nobody answers.

They just called and asked to speak to my 17 month old child. When I asked who they were asking for they hung up. I called back and the automated system said they were American medical. Guess it's a collection agency calling about one of my baby's medical bills. ??

Was attempting to collect debt; however, seemed very suspicious. I told them I'd take care of my responsibilities on their website. When I tried to call back, an automated message responded from American Medical Collection Agency; matching the same automated message from the phone number on my bill, as well. However, at one point during the call, I was put on hold and there was loud Indian music playing...thought that was odd. He also provided the phone number 844-515-2622, to call for any questions. This number, too, plays the same automated message of hours of operation.

I'll also note that the call connection was very poor. I also find it odd that a collection agency employee would be calling from a mobile device with poor connection.

No voicemail. No one answered When I called back.
But they've been blowing up my phone since.
Highly recommend blocking this number.
I did research and found out it's a faulty debt collection agency.
Don't respond. Just ignore

Got a call from this number. I called back and a British accent message came in saying that they were gone for the day. They call themselves American Medical. Very suspicious. I will be blocking this number. They left no message

Have any of you had any kind of medical/vision/dental insurance through Anthem? I did. And I've been getting the calls to. I'm asking because Anthem was hacked and over 80 million customers info got stolen.

I just received a bill from American Medical Collection Agency and it was for a bill from LabCorp that my insurance didn't pay and didn't report non payment. This is something you can pay online.

I answered the phone and they spoke in another language....no idea what but nothing resembling English.

Got a phone call around 9pm.  Asking for my husband and they didn't identify themselves.  Then asked if know a name which happens to be my husbands daughter.  Could hardly understand the guy.  After that it was my husband's daughter they hung up. They called my cell instead of my husband's which was unusual.    Called back the number and they did they were closed and identify themselves as American medical.

Calls and they have no voices on the voicemails they leave also i have a feature on my phone that will identify the name the phone number is registered to and it always says 'Vietnam'

I received a call from this number asking for a previous last name of mine.  Haven't used it in 5 years.

Got a call too. Picked up but no one answered. Just silence. I use my flexible spending account to pay for my medical bills so I know that I have no medical debts. This is obviously a fraudulent company.

This look like a medical collection agency, but they did not answer  when I called back. I think this a fraud company

I used to have Anthem insurance for my prescriptions when I was on Cobra a couple of years ago.  Should I be worried?  First I've heard of the hacking.
  Anyway this number 844-505-3328 called me 37 minutes ago.  I did not answer, didn't hear it but I don't answer calls I don't recognize anymore.  Scam callers have found me somehow and will not stop calling.  They say the government wants to give me $8000.  I called BS and don't answer anymore.
  The scammers also had deep foreign accents, just as someone mentioned about the 844-505-3328.
