Valid number for Chase Credit Cards.  Calling about potential fraud charges.

Ditto, a call-back on an issue I thought I was having.

How did you prove it was Chase? I returned the call, sounded like it was probably Chase like you say. I selected the option to opt out of telemarketing calls but did not complete it, I just hung up.  Shortly thereafter I got a blocked number inbound call which I answered (which I never do expect when I already know I'm expecting a call from someone who has that).  Turned out to be the robo dialer pests "Credit Card Services" we all dread telling me there was nothing wrong with my  cards but they wanted to lower my rates.  Foda-se

Chase Fraud, although Chase may use this number for other services.  They called and I almost didn't answer.  He said he was with Chase fraud prevention and that my card had been compromised along with a lot of others.  Some sort of data breach. He wanted to go over some charges I had made.  He didn't ask for any personal information.  He said they were sending new cards over night.  Afterward I went online to the chase website, and they had already changed the card number on my account.

Received a call at 9am, 08/11/2014, let it ring.  Looked it up on this sight.  As I check my account on line every morning, I went to Chase's site, found a Victoria's Secret charge for $500 even which we never made.  The call, therefore, was from Chase's fraud detection department, I called them back and they immediately canceled the card and charge, and reissued a new card.  Great systems they have!

Received one call this morning at 8:45am, I got the message and called the chase phone at the back of my card to check. It seems there is sth wrong with my card. Then they fixed for me. At noon, received another call, ask my DOB, I rejected and hung up. Call the phone at the back of my card again, the agent couldn't figure out what is 844 phone number and said chase would never call me. So I'm quite confused if this is really chase fraud or scam. Just make sure you never give your personal info on the phone with the phone number.

This is a t-Mobile number now. Since I am a customer I have attempted to call back but call volume too high at t-Mobile.
