- Daisy| 3 repliesCall came though as Unavailable so I didn't answer. They left a message couldn't understand what the person was saying except for my name. Told me to call back with this number 844-540-8024 with a long extension number. Person had a terrible accent talked about something being increased. Didn't and won't call them back.

- Koss| 1 replyCall came in but shown as Blocked so I did not answer. This person left a message with an unclear message why she called. I did not recognized the company and could not catch her name either. She left this number with a long extension number lie 6583235. I am not going to call her back as I do not trust the company that makes their calls as Blocked. If they do not trust me then I will not trust them.
- Caller: Cannot recognize
- frustratedAn "UNKNOWN NAME PRIVATE NUMBER" keeps calling speaking with a strong accent very difficult to understand. Refers to a name here with reference to a recent Visa inquiry and asks to call back to "name not understood" at 844-540-8024 with a 7 digit extension. I will not return a call of this nature. It it TROUBLE.

- merchantCall came in and left message to my toll free number. They said they are from Chase card services merchant disputes department and they need info regarding one of my customers. Called them back and it goes to voicemail after entering the 7 digit extension.
- Caller: chase card services
- Vistie| 2 repliesDITTO all of the above...weird....really, really weird. They knew my name...not going to call these idiots back so they can confirm my phone number.
SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME - on second thought, calling them back with a heavy accent and assumed name!!! - Vistie replies to Vistie| 1 replyClaims to be Chase card services...calling Chase to find out if this is a scam!!!
- Barb RChase Card Services they said with a long extension. Called my work number and left a message. Not happy. Calling Chase probably a scam.
- WDA "Private Number" shown and this woman left a message, saying she's Kathy xxx from Chase card services regarding a Visa inquiry. Asked to call her back to 844-540-8024 ext 6583143.
Called back as I recently had contact with Chase...but then the line went to a voice mail with an exotic name. Felt alert and hung up immediately. Now as I looked this 844 number up on the Internet, it is most likely a scam.
Remember, don't give personal info to anyone approached you without them showing adequate credentials. - MaggieGot a call 8/31/2014. Said he was Ephreem Adam with GE Card services, calling about my recent inquiry. I don't have a GE card, and haven't made any recent inquiries on any of my credit cards. SCAM!
- Caller: GE Card Services (probably fake)
- proczach replies to Kosssame thing, except my extension to call was 6583201. what threw me was I actually have a dispute on my Chase card of a bogus billing, I checked my messages, logging into my card account and it had been taken care of. was thinking it was the same scammers who got my card, but I see other people don't even have one of the cards they call about, so it was just a coincidence
- GGReceived a call from this number. He claimed to be Michael James at extension 6583231. He was calling about a recent Chase Card inquiry. Like a previous person that posted, I, too, have a dispute with my Chase credit card. Seems like there may be some hacking when a dispute is filed. I'm going to go in to Chase to let them know.
- Caller: Chase Card Services
- PatrickSame here. I filed a dispute with Chase and received this same call shortly thereafter. Extension was 6583294. I did not call back. Sounds like someone hacked Chase's dispute database maybe??
- Jacob| 1 replyHave also been getting recent calls as such saying from Chase Credit Card dispute- 844-935-9935 ex.658327? strong Hispanic / Philippino accent. Also have an on-going dispute. Not returning call as Chase has no Idea of the origan & end expitations of the caller.
- Caller: Chase Credit Card Dept.
- Jacob replies to JacobAdditional info to my last post. Using the 7 digit extention number they say to call is this- 844-540-8024 is a (collection) trunk access line. the 7 digit (extention) number they request you to call is a moblie cell phone linked with "Trip Advisor" advertisement, and by calling that extention (with various numerical changes) varifacition of your recieving their message. It is varivied by you returning their call with the toll free access of (844) > new toll free code. The other 7 digit numbers link you to telemarketing again linked to Kerala,India, offering hotels and / or property. That is the reason for the heavy accent, with American sounding names. Don't call or you will be pleged with nuscence, time eating calls & messages on what ever phone you used to reply to a survey to "Trip Advisor" and / or file a dispute to your Credit Card Provider. More than likely from your "Trip Advisoy" post if you sent a negative responce as I did...
- CNTThanks for verifying this is NOT a call to return - the scam ext. assigned to me was 6583296...

The long extension is what set off alarm bells . It looked more like a phone number . This needs to be reported to Chase.
