- Monica AirdThese people called my mom's cell saying i have two charges against me and I have 24 hours to respond or there will be a warrant issued. They wouldnt state who they were or where they were calling from. I called the number back. Talked to a woman there that was asking for my social. I told her no and asked what state these charges are supposedly from. She said "here". Well where's "here" ma'am? "Statewide" And where is that? "We dont call people, the courthouse calls people and gives them our number to resolve the situation." I said [***], tell me what state I have charges in. She then hung up on me. Total scam.

Did you actually owe money? - Yoda1725 replies to Joseph JonstonIf, as you say "i ended up getting served," then you should have no problem with providing the name of the plaintiff, right? It is printed on the "papers" you were "served" with, right?
- Gunnar replies to Joseph JonstonCome on now "Jo-Jon"! Admit It! The only thing you've ever been served is a plastic spoon & a plate of flied lice and a won ton.

Gunnar - Scam callHere's the message: "This information is intended for (insert name here) case #372862. This is Joe Bridges contacting you regarding an order that was submitted to my office this morning. Ms xxxxxx you have charges against you. At this point, you have one opportunity to contact the firm handling your charges to discuss this matter. They can be reached at 844-567-1884. You have officially been notified." I am an acquaintance of the person the message is for but that is it. My daughter received a call on a different phone number over the weekend with a similar story about the same person saying she was being arrested and that they would be talking to her in 25 min.

- SHILL ALERT!!!! Another "happy customer" from a NAMELESS company.
- You're funny! I noticed that this time you didn't even use an alias. I guess you figured out that the last one didn't work out too well for you. You Shills are dumber than a box of rocks! Do you seriously think you're going to fool anyone here? Puhleeeze....

! I love it. That's one of those "colloquial sayings" that they teach in "English as a second language" classes. I know because I used to teach those. Makes me wonder from what country your little scam operates. Doesn't matter, you made the big shill boo boo (write that one down). Boo Boo is more likely to be used that "in a pickle." We're still waiting for the name and address of these fine people who got you out of the pickle. I'm sure the story is a dilly! (Couldn't resist). :-)Quote:stuck in a pickle - Then, you should have no problem with providing their name, and legally verifiable address, right?
Is this them?

https://gardencity-ny-0691.theupsstorelocal.com/ - Really? A user alias composed of seven blank spaces? You know, that's not what they mean if anyone asks your employer for greater transparency. Meanwhile, as you recover from your pickled hangover, here's some fun reading on how your puerile stories do not resemble how debts are collected lawfully ....

Same statement made to 2 different family members. Left the phone # 844-567-7884 and when you call back the woman says shes just the operator and wont tell you the company name. After denying giving up my personal info she hung up on me. I filed an FTC ccomplaint this morning
