they had all my personal info ss# account number and told me i was being sued by someione from 2012

Left a message for a family member. Sounded as if she was in legal trouble.  Said she would be contacted at her work or home if she didn't respond. Another family member received the same message.

Said I took out a payday loan in 2012 and they were going to sue

called saying I took a payday loan out in2011 and would be sued if I didn't give 810 dollars today I think it's a scam

Got the same message called the number,said they were the Stark law firm.

I received a call at work stating I took out a payday loan years ago and need to pay almost $1000 over the phone or they were going to take legal action. I have never in my life took out a payday loan so I know it was a scam!

Its a complete scam. I went to the police department yesterday and also called the federal loan # to see if anything was taken out with my name and they said no any loans I had have been paid and closed. I have been dealing with this bs for over a year and they have changed the amount of the loan that was supposedly taken out!

Told them that I will be counter-suing them and the lady got really upset and hung up.

I received a call from these people with a reference number.  That I had 2 legal cases pending in my name. I declined to verify my ss# they clearly had. And was told "good luck" and hung up on.

they also called my wife looking for me. 100% total scam

Saying the same thing get a real job! Pray and talk to god about your problems he can fix it my god is awesome no weapon for against me shall prosper!!!!

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them.

They called my husbands phone, asked for me. He tried getting information out of them but they continued asking for me. He handed the phone over and they asked me if Adriane (insert maiden name) was my name, which I thought was weird. Then they asked if they had my ss# was correct. I refused to give them any info and they refused to give me any more info until I confirmed it. Never did I confirm and they would not give me any info until I did.

They called, I didn't answer. Lady named Lola Harris told me to call her back. She was so rude!
I think I'll call back at lunch just to mess with her!

Just called back. I would not confirm my SSN# and she wouldn't tell me why I have a 'pending case'.

Oh well!

These people bullied me into making a payment arrangement (against my better judgment). They told me they had been contacting me via mail and E mail (not true). Told me i have an unpaid payday loan and I had 2 options. Option 1 they where going to sue me and I would have to pay $3000,00 in court costs. After looking into things I figured maybe it was a missunderstanding and tried to find out when I took this payday loan out for $300.00. I didn't! when I asked them to send me proof I owed them money they said It was too late for that and it was in litigation. This stuff is way to fishy to be legit! Oh and they also called my sister and told her my debt is in litigation! WHO DOES THAT!? So I blocked them from my Bank account no proof no payment!

Same thing just happen to me told me i couldnt get any information until i set up payment arrangment so i hung up

Just got a call that there is a case #404 against my husband and that he needed to contact this 844-620-1718 number. She refused to say what case and who she was representing.  Very rude.  I told her i would rather to call the police department and State Attorney's office. Scam again?

These are nothing more than pond scum, trying to jack you up for money$$$$
NO ONE, I repeat, No One, or no person, or law firm will call you saying you are being sued...it needs to come in the mail and registered mail, for that instance.
They hire "American" voices, but trust me there are nothing but low life [***] trying to scam you....sometimes I play along and have a little fun....then I'll tell them to roll around in pigs' blood and then as loud as I can, I scream "GO [***] YOURSELF"

These ppl just called me today sayi g the same exact thing! They talked me into a payment arrangement....  at first it seemed so ligit...but after someone stole my identity twice i was thinking that this was real and how can i prove its not me when i have no paperwork nor do i have access to my previous email where everything was supposedly sent. I am now hiring an attorney! It was supposed to a 400.00 credit for pier1from 2012. Which i never shopped at.

the lady just called me and said she is with the stark law firm and there is a pending case of check fraud for a pay day loan in the amount of $400 in 2012. and i can settle today by paying her $800 or i can go to court and end up paying $2000 and court costs!! I have no clue what this lady is talking about and i have never taken out any damn pay day loans !!
