I got a call from an Alicia myers.  Shortly after so did my husband on his cell phone.  She said that she was trying to get in touch with me to sign some important documents that required my signature.  She said I need to call 844-657-0413 and gave me a case number in order to stop the visit.  I called the number and they said they were an arbitration service company.  That I was being sued by Texaco for intent to commit fraud and possession of stolen goods.  They were suing me for $4,800.00 but after speaking to me she said I didn't sound like I would do that, I must have overlooked the debt.  So she put me on hold and said without the court cost and added fees it was now around $1200.00 but if I settled today I could erase the debt for $766.00.  I asked her to hold that offer while I came up with some money.  She emailed me a generic letter saying the offer was only good for 24 hours.  I searched the name of company, phone number, fax number and address and cannot come up with anything making this company legitimate.  But I was scared because she knew my social security number.  I called and had a high fraud put on all three of my credit reports and filed a case with my states attorney generals office.  The next day Alicia myers again called me, my husband and my work again saying that she never received a stop order so she was going to visit my place of employment to sign these documents if I didn't call 844-657-0413 to have her stopped.  I called my local police filed a report and he even said it sounds like a scam.  Do not sign anything!  He stayed around till 5pm.  She never showed up.  He said if she does call him that way he can ask for id from her or get a tag number to see if anything is legit.  I guess I will see if she continues to call today.

I get calls from an Amanda with process servers saying the same thing. Thanks for sharing this! 8446570413 with a file #. And they had my full social too which made me a little nervous I must admit.

Wat ended up happening.. This David [***] keeps calling me regarding someone else...

SCAM!!!

The supposed name of this company is Arbitration Management Services and their supposed address is PO Box 219, Amhurst, NY 14228.  These people called my wife, my parents, and myself and left the following message:

"This message is for <your name here>.  My name is Sheryl Foster.  I'm calling to let you know that I have some documents for you that I've been trying to get out to you for the last couple days to collect your signature.  I haven't been able to reach you at your home or place of employment.  I'm giving you a courtesy call to let you know about your appointment tomorrow.  Make yourself available between 12 and 5 PM.  I'm assuming your available at that time so I'll stop by there first.  If you have any questions about this matter you can call the filling party at their number.  It's 844-657-0413.  There's also a file number attached.  That number is <your number here>.  If by chance you resolve this matter with their office just make sure they send me a stop order immediately.  If not I'll see you tomorrow."

When I answered their harassing phone calls on the day after they left these messages, I immediately told the woman that I know this is a SCAM and I'm reporting this phone call and their company to local and federal law enforcement agencies.  She was annoyed and rudely exclaimed , "I'm just doing my job!" and hung up on me.  I called 844-657-0413 and a man answered the phone.  Again, I explained that I"m reporting their company to local and federal law enforcement agencies.  He was annoyed and rudely exclaimed, "You do what you have to do!" and hung up on me.  I called the man again and asked if they are licensed to business in the state of New York and he replied, "Of course we are."  When I asked for their license number, he hung up on me again.

SCAM!!!

Got a call from Arbitration Service...threaten to serve docs on a eleven year old debt, if i didn't pay up. I contacted the BBB and they can't find anything on these people. I was told to file a complaint.

I received calls from this number and they were looking for the previous owners of my house, but they called my cell phone.

This has SCAM written all over it. They called me and left a voicemail saying they have been trying to get documents to my wife. They left the file number and everything. We called them back and the person that answered said she has a $9,000 credit card debt with Citi Bank and they are suing us......Unless of course we settle now. I explained to the person on the phone that the debt does not appear on her credit report. She them gave us some BS reason why it wouldn't be there. At that moment I knew it was a scam and hung up.

they ended up leaving me alone.  After filing a complaint with my states general attorney, they sent them a certified letter which in turn got sent back because there was no such address.  This place is definitely a scam.  I soon after bought a brand new car so there is no way it was real because I wouldn't have been able to do that.  And my husband still gets random calls from 844 numbers but he just doesn't answer.  We constantly monitor our credit reports now and have a fraud alert on them since they knew my social security number.  When I purchased my vehicle the loan company called me to verify I was who I was before running my credit so I think I took all the necessary precautions to them leaving me alone and them not affecting my credit.

Hello the same person just called me and ask me the same thing and just as you said so when the lady return on the phone she gave me the same inforomation as she did you ask for my ss and I said I am going to report you as  a scam then she hung up! number was 844-657-0413

I just received the same call for a debt back from 2002 & of course they are coming to our place of employment & our house,
if they can't find us......blah blah...... I told them I was reporting them to the attorney generals office & they said go ahead
and do that!!! we don't care. you better be home to sign these papers, if your not i'll wait till you get home. these people really think that threats are gonna work.....Not! I got there address and of course they don't have a physical address all they have is a P.O. box 219 Amherst, NY 14228
Oh and they suing him for theft of goods & Intentionally getting credit to default on....That's so crazy & not true!!!!

I got the same call a few months ago for someone - not me- from Stacey Miller.  I called the number and told the man who answered that I was not the person they were looking for and do not call again.  He said he would send the stop order.  Tuesday I received the same call from the same person.  Today I am reporting them to the do not call folks.  Let's see how they like getting fined!!

Three calls in two days from them. I told them if they continue calling me i will be seeking legal action. They said "good luck with that" (844)657-0413

Total scam beware, very demanding stated he will come to my house. His name is Ken phillips I called and reported this number.

I'm getting these calls too, from 2 different number and 2 different companies, but for the same "loan"  Stating I owe money from a pay day loan in 2011, they say they have been sending correspondence to an address I haven't lived at for 5 years. I stated if they were so smart and really wanted money from me they would know I've moved from that address and also no longer have the same last name.

Same call never answer they are now call different people at my work saying the same thing the guy's name is Chris Lewis. Never says what company they are just to call 844-657-0413 and ask to be connected to the pre legal department. Contacted my attorney and he said by law they have to say what company they are and the nature of the call. They also have to send a letter stating who they are the amount owed and who the original creditor was. That's the law. Bottom feeder trying to collect on debt that has been discharged through bankruptcy.

This is a scam, I just received the same phone call in the last two days. I called them back and asked for their name of business and address, they said it was the Pennacle Partners and gave me an address which is fake. I contacted the better business bureau and I have filed a complaint with the New York States Attorney General and with my state.

I received a call today also from Ken Phillips saying I owed a payday loan I never repaid from a place called cashnet. I told him I have only taken out 1 payday loan and that was from Advance America 3 years ago and that was paid. He told me that I would be served papers tomorrow between 12 & 1 pm for a court date. I told him that was fine but I'll have a Deputy here to verify the legality of said papers. He told me that he would mark the papers as refused and send them back.

Just received the same call.  He said, Ken Phillips, that it was from a payday loan company called Archway and that he was calling from Pinnacle Partners & Associates.  Said that my wife took out the loan in 2012, she's not worked since 2009, Go figure.  I told him that we waited on them yesterday and they never showed up and he said they never said that they would.  I told him i kept it on my voicemail and that I would be contacting my local authorities and he said "Oh yeah we're the real Scammers" yeah you are.  He said to go ahead that we shouldn't be taking out loans, which we didn't, we could repay.  He hung up on me.  If he was legit, he would have argued with me until I hung up on him, which I wouldn't because I would have gotten more info on him for the authorities.  He wouldn't even give me his address.  Guess he was afraid that his local authorities would be there to arrest him.
