I received a call saying she had an important me, said my name, but said if I was not who they were looking for to hang up, there was a pause for 10 seconds, then she started again with...this message is for so and so, My name is April Napier,
please call me regarding an urgent matter at 844-671-0989 ext 1333. Then hung up. Doesn't identify who she is working for but I assume it's a debt collector.

companies like you have access to changing your numbers several times., OOOPPPSSS your secret is out, but i have call blocker...

"i have call blocker"  ... GOOD - then use it, and stop telling registered users here to stop calling them.  Duh.

Caller left a message for someone I don't know.

Caller id simply said 800 Service. No name provided.

Numerous calls from this number asking for someone I don't know,  I never have known and never will know. The caller fails to grasp that calls to the incorrect number will never result in speaking to the person the caller says they are trying to reach.
The caller is NCB Management. Numerous complaints on the internet concerning these people, which seem to be bill collectors. I can understand why there are various complaints. If this business is content to use inaccurate telephone numbers to try and reach individuals, then the business is poorly run and  has no concern for accuracy in any aspect of business.

Caller id said 800 Service, not a business name at all. Caller asked for someone who doesnt live here.

Found the name of caller via 800 Notes. 44 complaints on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) website.

Now that I have informed NCB Management that they are calling the wrong number, lets see how long it takes for them to comply with my request to stop harassing me.

Oh yeah, they call every day. We have told them that who they ask for does not live here and we do not know them. They call us liars.
I asked for their address so I can send a letter telling them to stop harassing us but they hung up.

Called.  I picked up after a long silence a man who  said his name was James Colt.  He asked about a debt that was part of a banckrupcy in 2004.
 When I explained that he insisted the debt was mine still and that I needed to pay it.   I asked about the date of the debt.  He would not answer only saying He pays his bills and I should pay mine.
 At that point he asked how would I like to pay.  So I said goid bye and hung up.

They called me twice within 30 minutes asking for somebody who never lived here. They said they will mark my number as a wrong number and not call again. We'll see.

Today is 2 July 15 and at 12:00 noon I received a call from 844 671 0989 and a male voice indicated the call was for Wade and by continuing to listen to the call Wade............at this point the call just ended?????
I bought this house 20 years ago and over the last 20 years no one by the name of Wade has resided here.
Clearly who ever is calling does not have their act together.

I received a call from this number asking for my son-inlaw by name, I said he wasn't here and he wouldn't be back for a week. The caller wanted his cell number and I said I am not giving out someone else's number to strangers and and I ask him want it was concerning and he said personal business and hung up. I am curious how they got my number and what the scam is.

Doesn't sound like it's a computer related call so that eliminates them ransacking it (if you have one). That leaves getting access to personal and financial info as the only other option. They may not get anything, but they now know they have a live number they and third parties can work with.
