They called my cell phone; asking to speak to a person using my 1st marrige name.  I have not had this name for over 7-8 years.

Caller ID said unknown but they left a message. Asked for me by my maiden name and said I was being summoned. Gave a case number and everything. Her name is Mandy and said she is from MCS and associates however when I looked up the number she provided it wasn't linked to any of the websites for valid MCS and associate businesses. The number also can't be found except here. Anybody have any idea of what this is?

just received a call from this number. They gave me a case number and told me I was being summoned. I asked for what, and I was told to call this number that only the case worker can tell me.

I can say with 100% certainty that this company is nothing but an illegal collection agency and they happen to be good at being bad. This is not a guess these are facts, they use phone number changing software to make it appear as though they are calling from local numbers, they have no authority to file civilly against anybody since they aren't a law firm and they also are collecting on accounts that they are not even able to anymore. Accounts get placed with them, they fail to collect on most despite their tactics and then the accounts get taken and placed somewhere else. They keep records of accounts no longer with their company and collect on them anyway so there's a 50/50 chance that if you pay them that it won't even be properly applied to your account. Personally I would never pay them, just wait until it is with a company you can trust.

This number left a voice mail on my phone.  Said his name was James Matthew, cave me a case number and said there was a legal matter against me.  I believe someone from this number has tried to call me in the past.  He did not identify name of company he was calling for.  

It's a scam.

Received call saying there a complain against me and left reference number and the said it was under investigation. I looked up the company and visited the website looks legit but messaged sounded like bull, we have no one that would try to file a complaint and they would notify us by mail not a call. Scammers for sure.
