Guy with heavy accent said I had won million dollar sweepstakes.  Said I needed to send $2,000 via western union to some guy in Lagos Nigeria as processing fee then I would receive my prize. Asked for my bank account details.

this number calls every day, when I answer the phone, I get a recording that says "please continue to hold" I just hang up.
they called me, so I'm not going to hold.

Same as Felicia...I don't answer when they call (which is up to twice a day now) and the voicemail always says the same..."please continue to hold."  Just another scammer.

lady says she is from receivable performance management

Receivable Performance Management:  debt collector.  They keep calling my home phone dealing with a business phone.  I am a supervisor.  I have explained to them the reason the bill will not be paid: deceptive practices from Verizon's sales staff.  I put this in writing twice to Verizon and once to them . The very last one I politely flipped on, since he thought I was going to go through the same speech as the time before.  He was unwilling to comprehend the situation had been handle 4 days ago, to look at the records.  I then told him to stop calling, to put it in writing to our business address and I would send a certified letter stating the same, again. He told me, they would just pass this to a higher up department and the process will start again. Reporting them to FTC.

Called about 7 or 8 times over the last few days.  Never leaves a message, so I never answer the call.  Simple.

Call very frequently, sometimes multiple calls per day, I don't answer. They call my personal cell phone for company business.  We had issues with Verizon and we eventually settled some accounts with them, however this  "new" guy keeps calling saying that there is still a balance. I told him to check with Verizon months ago.  He still calls.
