Boy oh boy. This was a doozy.  Threatened me with Sherrif , prosecuters. Told me to hide my big dogs and weapons that they were coming for me. The best one yet.  I'm not going home

They are calling me saying they're going to arrest me in 24 hrs

You cannot be arrested for a debt. Debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.
Go to ftc.gov and read the FDCPA and learn your rights.

I got a call while on dialysis of all things and was told I was being arrested at 9 tomorrow morning.... My response was... The Sheriff's know where I reside, it's on my drivers license...

DONT  BE FOOLED BY THEM.  THEY TOO $750 FROM MY 70 YEAR OLD MOTHER-IN-LAW WHO IS CURRENTLY UNDER GOING CHEMOTHERAPY AT THIS TIME!!!!

they have called saying i committed fraud and im gong to be arrested and charged with a felony. They did not specify if they where a attorney office or a debt collector. Just threats.

I got a call from this number and I missed it. A message was left with these exact words: Yes this message is intended for (my name). My name is Jennifer Smith I'm contacting you from Nationwide Services. This is in regards to two complaints that were faxed in to our department. At this point our department has been retained to file two felony charges against you. And we will be requesting the Dallas County Sheriff's Department to your place of employment and or to your residence for your detainment upon arrival of myself and the uniformed officer. We do request all large dogs and fire arms are contained up properly and out of harm's way as well there needs to be adequate supervision for any minor children in your home. If you have any questions or concerns contact our department immediately at 844-780-6754. (My name): You've been legally notified in accordance to all federal and state laws.

I don't know what's going on here, but I am getting real fed up. In the last two years, I have now had 3 calls like this. How do I get this to stop? Yes I have old bills that need to be paid, but I can only pay them when I have money to pay them. So because of this, my stomach gets all tied up in knots because while I know you can't go to jail for unpaid debts, I still get nervous and worried. Then I get angry. I am tired of this and want the scams to stop, not just for me, but for other innocent people who are going through this.  

Do they ever show up at your residence or job?

The same thing just happened to me today and I gave them my cc number then when I calmed down and realized something just was not right, I contacted my bank and froze it and contacted my local DA office to see if  I was in trouble and they stated even if a debt is owed it is a civil matter not criminal and what they are doing is against the law!!!!!!! I am filling out paper work with my local department!!

I got this same exact call yesterday!!! I immediately called our sheriff dept and didn't even have the whole story out of my mouth and the lady advised it was a scam. To not answer the call and do not give them any information. Crazy that someone can get your information and that they can get away with doing this.  

Chamorrita78, I'm very sorry to here your mother-in-law was victimized by this scum.  Any chance you have the information on the company name they used to process her payment?  This could be VERY helpful.  Thanks

I hot the same exact call from them today saying that they filed 2 felony charges against me and that they were going to show up at my place of employment or residence to have me detained. Also stated to have large dogs and firearms put out of harms way and have supervision for minor children. The funniest statement yet is that they are in accordance with all state and federal laws. These people are scammed at their finest. I also noticed that these posts before mine were all from this month and year. Contact the ftc and file a complaint immediately!

I received this same exact call 2 days ago & knew it was a scam. The South Carolina tax system was hacked into 2 years ago & have had my personal info stolen & was warned about scams. I chewed out the last one before this call & have had no calls til now. If it continues I will chew her out too,ppl.have nothing better do than scam innocent ppl.Karma will get them eventually...
