Received a phone call (actually went to our payroll dept) that I needed to call 1-844-800-8970 and gave a case #.  I needed to call to change my address to home address or they would deliver items here.  Called and lady said it was RC and Associates.  Has anyone heard of them?  I was placed on hold for 15 mins., don't have a good feeling about this, so I hung up.  I believe it's a SCAM, but want to know if anyone else has heard of them or this number.

someone called my in-laws talking about I need to appear in court for some litigation.  When I called from my cell phone, I got a fast busy signal.  When I called from my work phone,  I got # has been changed or disconnected.  Oddly enough, when my mother-in-law called from her house phone, she could get through to someone.  Seems fishy to me, if I am needed in court for anything, send me a certified letter to appear!

Lovely Johnson called today claiming I need to pay $900 today or be sued tomorrow, regarding bills they say are unpaid from Vivint home security systems.  I have not received bills from Vivint or any certified letters and feel like this is a scam.  They claim not to be a collections agency but a law firm.  There is no listing with this phone number in Martindale Hubbell

Calling my family with this number as a reference. I cannot call this number with my VoIP phone service, it identifies as "not in service." I called over my cell and asked them to look up my account AND THEY CANNOT, they need the account number.

Family members have received mailings, and on the phone call were told to tell me that the police department will be serving me papers. However, the police know very well where we moved to (via drivers license and vehicle plating), AND we had a year of mail forwarding (just expired a few weeks ago), yet these morons can't seem to find where I moved. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD

I cannot find ANY debt collector under this name "RC & Associates" online, and their number comes up as a "false forwarder" that only exists to forward to another number, which is super super fishy.

I am going to call the Sheriff's dept to start an FTC investigation.

They called me asking for my dead mother in law and my ex brother in law I don't no how these peopl even got my #its not even in my name they asked if I could deliver a message to him then they called me private I had to call them back with a reference #

Got several harassing phone calls from these scammers. They called family members stating there were bench warrants out on me. I took this information to the local Police. The Officer called the number and after being put on hold, was transferred to Lovely Johnson. When informed she was talking to the Police, she became verbally abusive, and then hung up. If they call you, have fun with them. Especially this "Lovely Johnson" Character (who might be an effeminate male) lol

E-mail - typical of fraudsters, has no legal standing.
US Mail - this is serious, but then they have to provide the name and address of the business, and fraudsters usually don't send out any claims by US Mail.

This "Lovely Johnson" persona appears on other 800notes numbers as being associated with the Richard Carlson law firm.  Richard Carlson Law Firm is an AKA of Reliant Capital Group.

Long history on 800notes.  Sometimes they call themselves RCG.  Or RC Litigation or Richard Carlson Litigation  or   Richard Carlson Law Group and RCG Group.
