These people are relentless in their pursuit of an individual.  They have pestered me for over a month and will not stop even after I told them I was not the correct person and to stop calling me.  I even threatened to sue them and that like throwing candy to a child.

Call blocker might be your best bet.  Also it'd be a good idea to block the entire 844 area code.  There's some
indication from another site that this is originating in India or Pakistan.  Pure scam.

Called looking for Brandi

A heavily accented voice left a message saying complaints had been received in "my office" and that they needed to be called back to resolve the complaint before the matter was forwarded to a different office.  A "case number" IND5298 was included with the message.  Spouse was concerned and called back.  Talked with a person different from the one who left the message.  They talked for a few minutes with spouse giving his full name to convince the person he was not the person they were looking for.  Will call our phone provider to see if spouse's call to the number will cost us.  Hopefully have convinced spouse that the call was a scam.

Man with heavy accent called to say I was entitled to a refund for tech support that I payed for. He named off several companies that he claimed was no longer in business. Wanted my name. I told him HE called ME so therefore he should know who I was. I told him he was a scammer and I hung up.
