Said that it was Microsoft technical support which showed up on my laptop as there could be a virus.  I have an apple and never get viruses.

DO NOT CALL DO NOT  CLICK ANYTHING SHUT YOUR COMPUTER DOWN! This is a hacking scam, shut your computer off I media, and contact your anti virus provider

The message came up as my Norton Anti Virus and said to call right away.
Don't do it.  I did and got hacked.  they try to sell you services to fix the problem.
Called the real Norton and they couldn't remotely get on-line with my PC.
What a pain in the butt.

Just happened to my iPad. Do not call it is a scam.

This number came up on my computer as Norton tech support for a virus that I could not remove on my own.

Just got the message on my computer. Went to Norton and could not find any information on this. Did a virus check and shut down the computer. The notice said to call this Phone number 1-844-813-8227.

Just returned to work after a weekend off. No idea what the relief crew was browsing over the weekend. Found the red boxed panic message claiming to be from Norton. Googled the phone number. Doing a scan right now. Watch out for the scammers guys.

I did the same thing. I called and they said they were IT people and that my computer was in risk and had a bad virus. He said he needed to get into my computer to see what the problem was. How stupid could I be, he ran something and showed me how many attempts the hackers tried to get into my computer. He also said that my computer was gong to be protected for two years if I allowed them to protected. They also said if my computer was the main server, I said NO. He said what computer is your main server. I said my other computer he wanted me to be specific. I said let me talk to my brother and ask him what needs to be done, he said go ahead. Called my brother and he said, it's scam. My brother said turn off your computer, and hang up the phone. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING. Does anyone has an idea of what is going to happen? or what should I do?

tried to go to google search engine , a message came up to call this # my computer has a virus . called # asked which company he represented said life system. search life system only found medical software company. had these things pop up before . they want to remotely access your computer to "fix the problem" sometimes they want to sell spy ware .I usually find thing in my computer that they some how download

I got a call from 8448138227 saying my firewall was damaged  and someone was trying to steal my bank acct.and they are from Microsoft.I am on the no call list and I resent this no. Always calling.Can u stop them.

This just happened to me. I had a bad feeling about it so I looked up the number on my ipad first✌ I turned off my computer but what should I do now???

I also cal this phone number, and someone start to control my computer when I follow some steps he told me to do it. I was afraid him to do something for my PC after I found this website, so I close the window he controlled, but I do not know whether there would be something wrong in the future. Now I am copy all important document before I restart my computer. Hope everything goes right.

Just got my computer back from dell. New hard drive. Brought up dell website to upgrade to windows 10. While it was downloading this phone number and a bunch of other crap came up saying it was microsoft.  Tried to close screen wouldn't do it so I called dell. It wont recognize my intel driver...don't know if that was issue before...I hate these people. May they burn in hell.

Clicked on Google and a full screen blue notice came up with this phone number. It said it was a warning from Windows and I had virus.  Never saw a full page notice before. Don't know what I did to make me susceptible to this. I read the news stories on AOL and sometimes click on other stories on the same page, maybe there?  Avast helped me check it out.
