I've received a phone call from this number claiming to be the "National Service Center" in a voicemail. They are claiming that I have a bounced check in my name and social security number. I do not write checks at all. I believe this to be a scam. I've written the entire message below:

"This is the National Service Center. Uh, our phone number is 844-834-1511. We are calling as it pertains to the, uh, criminal filings for the bounce check issue in your name and social security number. If you or your criminal attorney do have any additional information or a stop-order already in place, do reach our firm today 844-834-1511. This is not a collection call."

I got the same thing. Def a scam, weird thing is they contacted my work number

My messages are exactly the same (word for word) as both of you wrote above. I also have a do not call restriction on my phones.

I got the same exact msg with uh in it. Pre-recorded for sure for sure a scam.

Exact same thing 5 minutes ago. I never write checks either. What a load.... These people need to get a life. Spend their time trying to make an honest living rather than try to scam someone. This is actually the second time I have received this call.

I have been getting these calls for someone with a different name.

I called bk &He even asked me if i knew my ex husband because he called his name. I didnt give him anymore info but Then, he said something about not supposed to be saying that. It truly makes me wonder how much of my info that they really have. Its creepy.

I got the same call today saying they were National Service Center and then I take out a payday loan back in 2011 and I owed them like a thousand and eleven dollars and I had to pay it only had 60 days to pay it the only way they can break it that would be in two payments of $505 plus the $9.95
to break it down into two payments what do you do they had my address my social security number and all my bank account numbers.but I have not had this bank account in about 5 years and the only place the employment they have is where I worked five years ago should I call the Sheriff's Department and tell them what's going on?

I got a VoiceMail message in regards to this same number saying I have two civil complaints against me and it will be filed on Monday Feb 9. I don't know what they are talking about as I don't do BANK FRAUD or ANY OTHER KIND OF FRAUD. They announced themselves as Marshall James Stanton 844 834-1511 x416. I called back today sunday and got VM no one can answer my call, didnt allow me into inputting etension number nor did it say a company name.

My issue is very similar i just checked my messages today and they called me on Feb 5 thursday at 10:27 am. An threatened to file the complaint on Monday and to be at my place of employment Tomorrow from 9-2 as a uniform officer will be present and have my manager be present as well. People like this should be Caught and Perscuted to the fullest extent of the law BULLYING people and LYING and SCAMMING. I got enough life to life issues just breathing, HOW dare they . I will be filing my OWN complaint in the morning ASAP.

My mother received a call today saying that she got a loan for $300 and that she owes $1500 now and that there will be a judgement against her if she doesn't pay and that her bank has given them an affidavit stating that the money they loaned was deposited in her account. They have her SS#. This is a total scam. Little do they know that I am an attorney and I will be looking to take appropriate measures against them. If they call you, do not panic, and tell them to go f--k themselves. If there was a loan, ask them for a copy of the contract, and I guarantee you that there will be no contract with your legit signature. They will most likely threaten you, and tell you that they will freeze your accounts, etc. Its all a bunch of B.S.

Just got the same voice mail on my cell phone.  After my cell phone rang, they called my home phone leaving the same message.  I don't write checks either.   This has to be illegal one way or the other!  They say that it is not a collection call??

how do you stop this unwanted call? The call is coming from 844-834-1511? they have all my bank account information how do I stop these people from taking money out of my checking account?

I called 844-834-1511 today and told them I had a few questions to ask them about the phone call I got Friday. so the first guy I talked to would not give me his name said he would have to transfer me to the person dealing with my account so I said okay waited for about 3 minutes before someone else answered the phone this gentleman would not give me his name I asked him who was the original lender on my account he would not give me that he then proceeded to tell me that he had never talked to me before I said yes you talked to me on Friday I then told him I was recording my call and that I had notified the FTC and also Fraud. Org.He then told me again that he had never talked to me before and I told him that they better not touch my bank account because I had a fraud alert on it also I said if you do I will press charges against you he then proceeded to tell me to do what I need to do and they would do what they needed to do and he hung up the phone.
