Left a file number and name of someone not even related to me.  Said they were sending documents to my home.  Think it some kind of collections because I have had people call before for this person.  When I called back they answered Clerks office and when I asked what clerk's office I was told no and put on hold.  I hung up

Called the AR Attorney General's office and they said its a scam.

I received a number of harassing calls to my home phone and cell phone saying legal documents are being issued through the clerk’s office and I need to call (844) 843-8487 immediately.

The callers never identified the firm they were calling from but I believe the number belongs to Berks & Lewis Litigation Group in Ontario, California.

This sounds like a scam.  Do not give them your credit card or checking account information.

These people kept calling my cell phone telling me to contact them within 24 hrs or else the would be sending documents to the clerks office. They did have my correct address. They asked me to call them back and provide my employers name and address/phone number. They never identified who the caller was. Once a male and next 2 calls a female.

oh my god, they did this to me too and now I checked my credit report and they pulled my credit..i don't know what to do

Maybe pay your bills?

I got the same calls with threats to have a constable serve me at work. i wasn t ever given a name of a company an address or email and i asked for all of it. I told them to send me an email of a settlement and as of today nothing but they say the offer expires to day. i believe this is a scam for sure dont give your cc or bank info at all please

I fail to see how you reached the conclusion the poster doesn't pay their bills...

Its a student loan forgiveness company that reduces govt loans for the art institutes. Part of a settlement.

They are now using the phone number 833-709-0772 claiming to be Brookside processing.  No process server or company exists.  Nothing has been filed against me in my county - fake docket numbers.  They are working for Karmen and Michaels and their tactics are illegal. FYI
