- Jeri| 153 repliesSupposedly the Holiday Property group, but appears to be a timeshare scam

- KrisTimeshare scam, very convincing. Don't believe them!

- RWR| 12 repliesMy client received a call from this outfit. She referred the matter to me. I investigated, conversed w/ it (a one Michael Dean), and also attempted to call the "interested buyers" (a Mr. and Mrs. Young) who, in my opinion, were part of this scam. Caught them in numerous inconsistencies, sloppy 7th grade level proposed "contract" which was absolute garbage; request for $$ to obtain "title insurance" (to sell a membership?; no title to insure!!) and additional upfront $$, etc. When I advised of my concerns, and that no upfront money would be forthcoming, I received a terse email saying the "contract was voided" (not sure how that happened, as we never had a contract). Bottom line - this outfit is clearly a group of uneducated cons trying to run a scam. Intentions are to report it to the Maryland Attny Gen, though, as busy as that office is, likely nothing will be done. RWR, Attny At Law

- Allen A.Taylor replies to michael tate| 2 repliesHappy Holidays.I'm the Operations Manager for The Holiday Property Group and I was contacted by Mr.Watson this morning regarding these postings. We leased Mr.Watson's family a week in Ocean City,Maryland over the Thanksgiving week this year and it was a timeshares owners week then they couldn't use. This can be verified by going to Theholidaypropertygroup.com web site and clicking under Holiday specials. Most of your clients lease weeks through us in The Eastern Shore of Delaware & Maryland Beaches in the summer months. The weekly rentals in Ocean City,Maryland start at 2 thousand a week and more during the summer months. The Watson's and other couple are finding that buying vacation ownership at high discounted prices and trading there week in Ocean City saves them 100's and the trend is catching on.The Holiday Property Group doesn't offer to list nor advertise vacation ownership. When selling a vacation ownership property, first call your resort and see if they charge any upfront fee's for you to sell it like Transfer fee's and most vacation ownership's are considered deeded property so use a title company for you protection and never pay front fee's to any company to sell or rent your vacation ownership and if you want out of your contract with your resort here's a site that cant help you.timeshareexitteam.com recomeneded by Dave Ramsey these are attorneys that do nothing but get you out of your contracts with your resorts.

- Darla replies to Jeri| 101 repliesIt is a time share scam! Do NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! It is completely fraudulent. Have done a lot of research. Pay close attention to detail. They say they put money in escrow but they do not! Says 45 days but can take up to a year and the person who calls you interested isn't the one who buys it! It's someone else.
- Darla replies to RWRYou are right! What I would not do to report them and keep them from taking advantage of anyone else.
- Darla replies to Allen A.TaylorIf you are the operations manager perhaps you need a good spellchecker! Not buying it! You ripped off my parents! You're lucky I don't tell everyone to report you to their attorney general and the fake BBB rating with no comments on it! Michael Dean is a scam artist and a fraud!
- Darla replies to concernedReport them to the police. Call Chicago title and look at the address you are sending to......
- Susan replies to JeriThis number called me 5 times trying to sell me Health Insurance.Blue Cross they said they worked for.
- Adam T. replies to concerned| 5 repliesI have rented through this company for 8 years and my family goes to Ocean city every summer, if you have a problem with them just call them. Not this worthless site. This site you don't have to create an account. No credibility on this site.
- SCAMMED replies to Darla| 96 repliesThis is exactly what I signed up for with Michael Dean. He sounded legitimate that we fell for it and paid escrow. To this day , about 60 days through it, no sale. The emails from the supposed buyer were questionable. Initially the Mr and Mrs buyers were interested and then someone died in their family that they can't pay. Please don't fall for this. We will inform our lawyer to work on this ,report to bbb and hopefully will get a full refund of our escrow money about 800 plus and report this to proper authorities.
- Dave replies to SCAMMED| 29 repliesI just went to bbb site. This company has been in business for 14 years with no complaints. I also called the number 844 877 1166 and it's not a working number. Question :
Why would any company risk there reputation for 800.00 ?
Why wouldn't you call the company directly?
This number is associated with, insurance, sex sites, telemarketing. - BigA replies to Dave| 22 repliesThat wonderful company you are talking about told the BBB that they were in business since 2003, but the registration in Maryland tells a different story:
