Male professional scammer...Left me a detailed message, saying he would be coming to my home and place of employment in San Diego County (where we own our home but we don't live there or work there.... So they did some homework on us, but not enough) for a criminal lawsuit against me for fraud checks written from North Valley Bank (hometown bank where my in laws lived, but I never had a bank there).
I was impressed by the details they gave and how they knew my hometown and inlaws hometown as well.

Got the same phone call and they said the same but called my in laws house and mine and his name is scott stone is what he said

Just received the call from above number- they found out a friends number to get a hold of me- said judgment and criminal against me in my home county- she acted as if she was a process server and wanted to give me the heads up they would be filing charges. She even had the last four of my social to verify it was me. I told her there is no reason for me to receive anything like this and I asked for the creditor name . She gave jds empire and the above number. She said she could transfer me so I held to see what would happen knowing if a server she couldn't do this. She placed me on hold with music in background. I hung up and started googling Info . Found this

I got the same type message today from a Tiffany Green at this number.
She had the county that I lived in correct.
She said I would be served a summons at my employment and then my home address.  She said I was being brought on fraudulent charges but did not say from whom this was.  She left a message.  I wasn't at work when she called me.

I don't call these people back.  Typically, from what I understand if someone is going to arrest you they aren't going to give you a notice.  I've never been arrested but that is what I have been told.

Called me at work and also just left a voicemail on my cell phone.

They want you to call back and probably extort some money from you!

Got a call from a PRIVATE # said he was a private investigator and he had  received a fax from some company. That i needed to call (844) 879- 3979 and if i didn't they would show up at my place of employment with an armed guard!!! lmao or if i had any dogs or firearms at my home to put them away for the safety of the person coming to get me!! I told them to send me a formal letter from who they are referring to and if they showed up at my property I would defend myself!!! Lmao. tune in tomorrow.

I haven't talked to anyone there.  But Tiffany Green from this number called my supervisor today because I was on the phone.  She left all of the same information with her.
Thank God I have a wonderful supervisor and I told her it was a scam.  But I hate these people!
I know it's a scam but it is unnerving what they will do!  I reported them to the FTC.

A person called me too and left this # He said his name was Bradon and he was from Empire Legal looking for my ex-wife I'm not sure of the scam but it is

I am forwarding the message left and all info gathered to the Ohio Attorney Generals office immediately and hope they bring charges against these people for deception, fraud, and theft charges in the future

I just had this same situation.  The county they were referring to was a county my husband lived in 4 years ago. It was a private number so I didn't answer but they left a message.  IDK how they got my number when they were looking for my husband.  This idiots need to be caught!

I got the same calls.  Sounds like they just bought a bunch of old debt and are trying to collect on it.  Don't pay them a dime otherwise you will be keeping them in business.  Wish they could go to jail for all the lies and threats.

I got the same message from these people at Empire Legal from someone named Sharon Robinson.  Stating that I owed $1700 from a payday loan from 2009.  They claimed they tried to get in touch with me via mail, but I never received anything from them and have nothing in my records from these people that I borrowed any money.  I told them to send me the appropriate paperwork so I could check my records and the woman became rude and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise.  These are obviously bottom feeding debt collectors.  They never served me with any summonses or legal paperwork.

They"re not allowed to show up at your house making threats against you.  It's against the debt collection laws (in most states).  Check your state laws and file a compliant against them with Consumer Affairs, or any  consumer agency you can think of in your state.

They keep calling with threats of court summons and prosecution.  They didn't say what company or what client they represented.? I called back Jasmine Clark at 844-879-3979 no answer and they haven't returned my.  Sounds like fraud ?

Same thing again.  Left a message threatening to serve me at home and/or work.  Female caller.  Jasmine Clark was her name.  This happened in Dallas county, Texas.  Called on Valentine's Day.  Left phone number and case reference number on my phone.

They called me to threaten me about being summoned gave me a case number said Sacramento County and that I am being sued for $1900!! What the F ever! Then I asked for a website, Rachel Greenbal told me to hold on. Then gave me one that doesn't pop up, she said hold on again when I called and told her that it doesn't work. She was all over the place telling me she was new to the company and doesn't know what their website is. Asking me for my credit or debit and that they have to take it now. I am like HELL NOO!!! Then she tried to argue with me about the whole website deal and doesn't know why it doesn't work. OH PUHHLEASE!! And when you type in the number 844-879-3979. NOTHING but rip off complaints, fraud etc. And it is illegal to call someone and threaten them legal anything!!

Did they tell you that the county you live in is summoning you?

Yep, got a call too...Aggressive tone in the guys voice but laughing. I have VERY VERY well versed in TX debt collections.

Anyone collecting debt from a TX resident MUST have a surety bond whether the company collecting is in TX or not

One more for you for your states Statutes of limitations  

I researched this and that means the LAST payment made on any debt. that date starts the day of the Statute of Limitations
(texas example here....) So I made a payment on jan 1 2010 on a payday loan and not another one, the company could not longer send this to court to obtain a summons after jan 1 2014. They could still call and harrass me and tear my credit up but no legal action could be done.  (NOT A LAWYER BY ANY MEANS)...why I'm only providing links to help
