A woman called me from this number and left a voicemail ,she stated she was from a litigation offifce and there is some file on file and to call them back otherwise a summons will be sent to my hometown. First of all I have been geting alot of prank calls lately from people with fake numbers trying to pull this same crap and dont give any information and when i google the number guess what its a fraud fake company trying to scam money out of you and scare you.  I tried looking up this number and nothing was really documented. Does anyone know anythng about this company #844-879-7122. I dont and there is no reason why they should be calling me.  Is this one of the fraud companies?? I called and a automated system said capital resource consultants , i hung up. I know that there are scammers that use other companies names and try and scare you to give them money. Is this one of them or is it ligitimate??

Yes they are a real company. Capital Resource Consultants helped me resolve some issues. They handle a lot of different things, so I would probably call them back.

Well, thanks for the absolutely unproductive post.  A few more specifics like their address would be helpful.  Also, what type of "issues" did they help you resolve?  Foot fungus?  Clogged pipes?  World hunger?

Actually, we are a bottom feeding junk debt collectors.  Don't call us because a phone call is not a legitimate way to verify debt.  You should read your rights before you have anything to do with the likes of me or my "company."  Here's the government site.

Funny that you work for them but can't remember the name.  Of course you are probably looking to get paid since it seems they neglected to pay their phone bill and now the phones are disconnected.  Wonder if they are in collections.  Oh the irony of it all, love it.

No one can call them Mary, their phone was disconnected for non payment and they are now in collections.  No web site either, probably didn't pay that bill either.

Funny thing though, I seem to remember seeing the name of the owner Todd Pederson somewhere before under another company name.  Too bad i can't remember the name of the company.

This company lies they leave a message saying that a civil action suit or a pending summons is against me and when I called the court house they said nothing against me and that it may be a scam. When I called the company and asked to speak to the woman who called me the girl who answered the phone said that she was in a meeting and that she could help me. I asked her about the pending action against me and she said that I owed money from a pay day loan and what can I pay. When I told her I am barely making my house payments she got very rude and said how are you paying your cell phone payments. That I could get help from my family or friends to pay off this debt. I told her maybe in six months my luck will Change but she got very rude again and said that she was going to say that I refused to pay and that someone will be comming by my
house giving me a summons. I went to my family and they hired me a lawyer. The lawyer said it sounds like a scam and the company has ti be legal in the state of florida in order to sue me. Don't worry because there a collection agency and there pretending to be ligation firm.

they called me to and told me they were from eaton county.they have no business with them they are trying to get your imformation thats why they only say the last 4 digits of your social number.

I recieved a called from this number and stated they were a prelitigation company and he was calling on behalf of the lawyer handling my case. Said I was being charged with check fraud from a online payday loan company. I asked him to send me a validation of debt because I never used this company and he advises me to contact my lawyer because in court I need proof that I didn't use them. Scam!

I recieved a call from #803-310-6032 a recorded message threatning me advise that if i dont call back today or have my lawyer call back they will be forced to send info to the county I live in. This is such a huge scam!!! First of all a few weeks ago i go a call from this number and the same automated system said there was check fraud on my account and i should call them to validate it yeah right.I looked up the number people stated the same thing its a scam. So they waitied a week then started calling leaving threaning voicemails that a summons will be sent. when you call back the number it says its midway mediation the number they leave for you to call back is #844-879-7122 which is supposly capital resource. Whats even funnier is #844-879-7122 called first left a message saying they are a litagation company and a lawyer was handeling the case left a case # said to callback they some how got my uncles number which no one knows how i really think they get your info and then do a search with people with your last name in your area and they call them makeing it sound like they are a collector until they find someone you know or related to. anyways i called the #844-879-7122 the woman was rude and nasty i tried geting her info she insisted i verify my info first i told her no since they are scamers and have mine she transfered me to this so called lawyer which guess what he even stated he wasnt a lwayer he said some payday company said i lapsed on a loan first of all i never did bussiness with this so called company and when i told him that and i wanted more info he wouldnt give it i advised by law if a company is trying to collect from you they have to get in contact with you i told him i going to report this and he got scared and said oh have a nice day and hung up.... no papers ever sent now they think they are slick they call from other numbers which are for another fake company midway and the message tells you to call #844-879-7122 which is for capital the sam ones i told them they were scammers and they leave a different case number every time. i tried reporting this i just block the calls now .

I got a call where the voicemail left this number as a call back number.  The number that showed up on my caller ID was a number in Ohio (216) 242-2616.  I guess they thought they had a better chance of getting me to answer if they did that.  These scammers do that a lot to leave that phony message.  I don’t even answer calls when the caller ID shows my own area code anymore unless I know exactly who it is.  Last year, a couple of scammers got me to answer by doing that.  Now unless I know who it is, I let it go to voicemail.  This one just started calling me so they probably will for a while.  I figured it was about time because the phony Cooper Mediation thing didn’t work.  Neither did Delray Associates, so now it’s Capital Resource.  It doesn’t help that every voicemail no matter what “company” is supposedly calling is the same guy.  Now I’m waiting for “Jamie Gibson” to call again complaining about how I don’t return their calls.  She called claiming to work for Delray and later called claiming to work for Cooper Mediation.  I have legit stuff to pay like my mortgage and utilities.  I have no time to toss money to these people who can’t be bothered to earn money legally.

I am an employee at Capitol Resource Consultants. We are a collection agency plain an simple. I am posting here to let you all know not to return any calls that you receive. I can not stand lying to good people that make honest mistakes anymore. Do not stress, we have nothing to do with attorneys or civil suits at all. We call you an your family using a trace program called TLO which gives us your last known listed numbers an the numbers of 1st degree relatives when your SS# is input into it. We get your SS# from your original payday loan application which we receive after you default on it. If you do call in to settle your debt we are then instructed to add $1000 onto whatever you owe so that if you take a "settlement" option the owner can still pocket more money then your original debt was worth. The whole thing makes me sick to my stomach. I apologize to anyone I personally called. If for any reason you read this an have made a payment arrangement  already then I strongly suggest you call your bank an stop further payments. For obvious reasons I have to post this anonymously as I am still employed here an do not wish to lose this job until I have found a new one but again I apologize to anyone I bothered an wish you all the best of luck.

A caller called stating an employee called them and they were returning the employee's call.  Stated the employee initiated the call.  I happen to be the employee they claim called them.  The call came from 844-879-7122.  She stated her name was Charry Banks with CRC.

They said the same thing and i owed money and they had all my info and everything and they said their name Idea Guilt and the 844-879-7122
