States are trying to serve papers for their agent at my work and home.  Call back to avoid. No name of business given.

Wrong number was provide. but they were attempting to collect a debt.

I am getting the same thing but from numbers all over the country. I think it just some low budget collection company. They haven't dropped anything off at my house or work.

I am getting 4-5 calls a day from this company (?) from locations all over the country.  It appears they change the location so the numbers can't be blocked. They claim that documents are being delivered.  But this is a new cell number for me, and I'm confident it's just a credit collection company for someone else.  Sneaky...total scam.

I am getting calls everyday, all day, from all different phone numbers, and am being left different messages. First messages were that someone is trying to serve me papers at my home & work addresses & I  need to call back before they attempt another delivery. Then I started getting different messages about bad checks being written. I believe this is some sort of scam to try to get my personal information. I do not answer these calls & block every single number that calls me. The call back number that they leave is 844-890-7328

I also just received a call saying something about a bad check and to call immediately in order to stop this from going on to a federal level.  The strange thing is that they called my work number from a San Francisco number and at the same time called my cell from a Los Angeles numbers.  The call back number they left is 844-890-7328.  The number that showed up on caller ID from SF was 415-325-0068.  I Googled that number and didn't come up with anything.  And one more thing that says this is a scam - I don't write checks!!

First message 30 days ago said agents trying to deliver something to my home or they are going to show up at my work. Most recent call this same#, talks about bad checks & fraud. 3 different #'s calling. Fyi i don't write checks!!!!

Thank you Celeste,  I'm not going crazy, exact same thing happening here. (See my post just a few min. ago) We have even called the # it says to call back 844-890-7328  & it sounds like someone's personal phone # & they answer it "hello," then claim to know nothing about it when my hubby unleashes his rage on them!

It doesn't have to be a paper check it could be a prearranged debit card purchase were they automatically take money from your card but for some reason payment wasn't achieved in full. In my case I got a loan from a quik cash place and cancelled my debit cars after I lost it than didn't pay loan because I was in the hospital. They use this mediation company to get there money before proceeding to court and more expenses. I checked them out with the original loan company to verify they had hired them. Also if u call the number and tell them you do not know what the papers are for and u give them ONLY your name they will give you all the information you need and allow you time to verify everything. I hope this helps as I realize not every case is the same.

I just received a phone call saying I had a bad check and to call back to avoid it going to a federal level.  Ummmm ya I don't think I have a bad check out there.  SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They called my work saying my old phone  number didn't work any more wanted to know when I was going to be there. Work didn't give that information to them. Work asked who was calling they said my cousin Mr Thomas. I don't have a cousin by that name.
