They called my cell phone which is fairly new and I have only given my cell phone number to family, friends and a few co-workers.

I didn't answer the phone, I just googled, saw it was a scam and add the number to my blocked calls list.

Received a robocall from this number trying to sell me a security alarm.

My phone rung once from this number.

Starts "Hello, The FBI reports a home burglary occurs.... then it says if you allow them to install a sign in your yard you can have a home security system installed for free. NEVER identifies company. Asks to press (1) for more or (9) to be on do not call. Didn't press anything due to scam scounding nature.

I NEVER  answer calls on my cell when I don't recognize caller.  This # just called my cell & family & close friends only have my #.

This number left a message on my work phone, telling me that I could have a sign placed in my yard and a security system installed in my home for free. It went on to say, "If you to hear more information, press 1. If you would like to be placed on our 'do not call' list, press 9".

Do not ever dial 1 or 9, as they will take that as confirmation that it is a "live" telephone number.

Said their FBI wanting to sell security sign in yard lmao. They called me at 7 pm .. It's dark outside lol wow. Scammer  indeed. I hanged up.

Hi guys. I received a call from this number. I was working so I did not answer. There was no voice mail left so I became curious as the number is from New York and I know a few people in News York but not from this number. Anyway, so I called the number back and received an automated message (computerised sounding {& very cheap sounding as well!}), stating that to be taken off their list to press any number and you will be removed from their call list. We from prior experience I know that is a SCAM! By pressing any number of then charges you outrageous fees & that will be ongoing! So, flat out DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBERS, & BETTER YET JUST DO NOT CALL THEM BACK, BUT RATHER JUST BLOCK THE NUMBER & REPORT THEM TO THE FCC & the FBI as I have done!!
They flat out are nothing but scammers looking to STEAL YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!
BLOCK THEM & REPORT THEM!!!

RECEIVED STRANGE CALL FROM 845-208-2911... NO MESSAGE LEFT ON MY CELL PHONE...

I was freaked out by this. It left me a
auto-mated voice message that was exactly three seconds long but got cut-off. This is what it said,"Hello! The FBI reports that there is a home break-in every 15,...". And that's where it got cut-off. Like wtf? Is this a prank or something from New York? Because this scared the living hell out of me!!!

How do you go about reporting them

I just received a call from this number ,  it' s  not first time. I never answered it.
