Claims to be from Senior Care Awareness. Caller I.D. shows Saugerties. They say "you have medicare, do you not?" Say they are here to send out my medical devices, braces for back and knee pain. No cost to me, they will bill Medicare. This scam is preying on the elderly, and is costing Medicare. Maybe that will speed up action against them.

Received a call from 845-217-2038, caller ID displayed "Saugerties NY". I did not answer as I do not answer unknown calls and the caller left no message. As usual if I do not recognize the caller 99 times out of 100 it will be a low life scammer whom is unable to obtain meaningful employment and must resort to criminal activity to earn drug money.

Caller (with a heavy east indian accent) said he was from Senior Services (or something like that, he was hard to understand) with a offer for people on medicare. I told him I wasn't on medicated and he hung up. Peerless Network VOIP, Saugerties NY

This is a nation wide scam I'm in the State of Washington.

My wife got this call this morning. She thought it was a robo call, couldn't understand it and hung up, which is what we do with all robo calls. Again Caller ID was "Saugerties"

They called and I was busy working...asked for my dead father-in-law...and I responded as such.  Bad move on my part. "Saugerties NY" on ID...I need to get rid of the land line phone as these are the only type of calls we get.

Another illegal scammer.  Block!  If you call back, you get recording that doesnt identify the company, then tells you the voicemail box is full.  SCAMMER!

I am on the do not call list, as well as non-published and unlisted.  This caller did not leave a message.  Why does the do not call registry work to stop these calls!

Called today. Just said Saugerties, NY. I don't answer calls with no caller ID. They didn't lm. I will block. they will call from another number. And it goes on....

Phone rings. I pick it up. Noise like call center in background. I say "Hello". Woman says "(my first name)?" I say "Who is this?" She hangs up. So do I. I get the number that last called, this is 1-845-217-2038.

one of several "New York" numbers used.  I think this is the fourth.  I just block them, but then usually get called by a local number, that also is blocked.  Seems to be part of a national network of telemarketers that call from a variety of states.  They keep me busy blocking them.

Call several times a day. No message. Thanks to everyone here that posted about this scam!! Love my new phone system where you can press BLOCK and be rid of these trash balls!!
