It was my final notice to lower my credit card interest rates as it applies to the stimulus.  I tell them no thank you and they still keep calling and giving me my final notice.  I am on the no call list.

Telescammers ignore the Do Not Call list.
Want to stop repeated telescam phone calls?
Try these alternatives:

1.  Do not answer the phone if you see an unknown number on your Caller ID ... let it go to answering machine or voicemail.  Many telescammers hang up after 3 rings.

2.  If you have a smartphone, get one of the inexpensive or free phone blocker apps at your online app store, and learn how to use it.

3.  If your cel is not "smart", read the manual to learn how to set up a "group".  Assign the scammer's phone number to that group.  Also assign a "silent ring" to that group.  You will not hear future calls from that number.

4.  Google NoMoRobo, and visit their site, to see if your phone system is compatible with that system.  (It may or may not be compatible).

5.  Contact your phone service provider.  They may have a facility or method to allow you to block numbers.

6.  If you buy things online, you might want to google "Amazon phone blocker" to see what devices or apps Amazon has to offer for landlines or smartphones. Similar devices are for sale on eBay and other online stores.

They keep calling back although I have asked to be put on the no call list a few times.  HOW DO WE MAKE THEM STOP AND GO AFTER THEM ?

Continuous and daily harassment originating from this number.  

I have asked these people to remove me from the list, after pressing the number to no longer receive calls many times.  Tehy always hang up on me...

I"m on the do not call list, I've pressed the number to no longer receive their offer.  I've told them numerous times, I do not qualify, I've asked them nicely to remove my  name. I've asked them not so nicely to remove my name.  They call at least once a day sometimes more than once....

I'm in ENRAGED at this idiots who have been calling my house for months! I have reported them to the FTC and Better Business Bureau and NO help! They call from different numbers and when I press 1 to talk to them and go off, they hang up. I cannot call them back nor find out what to do about this harassing scammers. Even if you press the number to stop them from calling, that won't work either. I'm going to do more research regarding this and update you if I find out how to stop these idiotic scammers.

I have been getting these calls for over 5 years now.... It's ridiculous ... And like everyone else. Whenever u talk to a person when I tell them I don't want to have anything to do with it and I want off the list they just hang up.

I just got the same call and I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THEM.  I have been receiving them for MONTHS as well.  When I press 1 to tell them I DO NOT CARRY A CREDIT CARD BALANCE, they hang up on me.  Something has to be able to be done about this.  I have my number on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!

Credit card scam.  They are crooks who are looking for credit card numbers and there must be enough gullible people who provide the information they are looking for to make the repeated calls worthwhile. There's not much you can do because they are crooks and could care less about the Do Not Call list.  They're probably not even located in this country.  I share everyone's frustration.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

When I pressed 1 and a lady started giving the schpiel, I told her to stop talking. She said, "THAT WAS RUDE," and hung up. We're a nonprofit and don't even have or want a credit card!

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

Hi Karen, They don't care that you are on the DNC list. They are scammers. All they want to do is get cc numbers under false pretenses of offering you something they don't intend to honor, so that they can sell your card on the black market.

And if you press any number to be removed, you have just confirmed your number connects to a live person. Your number goes to the top of the call list.

All of the above is theft by deception.

Here are a few steps you can take if you already confirmed your number..

Google "fake credit card generator". You will find a few websites that make bogus card numbers.  You can obtain a list of 30 to 60 fake numbers each month. Then whenever these scammers call you, just give them your fake card number and exp date. If everyone on this site does this, they will be selling worthless cards on the black market.

If you do have a credit card, call them and tell them you want to cancel your card since you don't have time for fake offers to lower your interest rate.. When they say, those offers are not from us. Tell them you don't care, cancel my cards or pay me to answer scam calls all day....

If you put the cc companies out of business, the scammers will have nothing to lower..

This is getting ridiculous, I hate these phony phone calls.  I don't even have credit card debt.  I feel so helpless, maybe we should get the Legit CC companies involved as this apparently has to do with credit card fraud from what I am reading from other submitting complaints.  Now I am getting these phone calls on my cell phone, which I never give out.  

A shame that phone companies can not protect their customers from these uneducated [***] that are constantly calling me with Deals!
