Have had several suspicious calls recently including The one ring from 268-762-0151 that has been reported on this forum.
Thus when the call from this number 845-371-4477 showed a New York origination on caller ID, I didn't answer. The voicemail left by an automated system stated that my debit card had been de-activated. If I wished to re-activate then press some number. I did NOT....My cards have not been de-activated...

Got the same call.... rolled over to Voice Mail. I suspect they caller ID has been cloned, because a reverse look up leads to a business in New York State that sells windows and doors.

If I wished to re-activate, press one now. Also saw on Google search the hapless windows and doors company. Unless they're a front for a credit card ring... What a world.

Just realized you can file a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry:

You may file a complaint if you received an unwanted call after your number was on the National Registry for 31 days.

just received a phoney call stating my Chase mastercard had been deactivated. This is not Chase.

Keep receiving a call that my debit card has been deactivated with Bank of America. I don't bank with B of A. They want you to enter your card number to reactivate it. When you call back the number it belongs to a company called Affordable.

Got the same message from the same 845 number as all the others about a chase card.  

It's a scam. Received a call from this number and a automated system said, my Bank of America Debit Card had been deactivated and to press 1 to continue.
