I had the same calls.  I am sure it is a scam.

starting  in february,a guy who keeps changing his name has been calling my job talking about some crap on me borrowing money from some payday loan ,which  i never heard,saying that i got to get a lawyer because the place is taking me to court,and i can lose my job for ,after going to jail for 6 months .i asked him how much money the place said i borrowed.he replied 400.00.after he told me that  crap,i knew right then and there its a scam going on here.he needs a telephone cord wrapped around his neck.i think that punishment will fit the crime.THE PHONE NUMBER HE USED LAST IS I-845-445-2304.I HAVE ALSO GOTTEN  CALLS FROM A CALIFORNIA NUMBER

Got the same message, mid eastern accent.   Told me I better get a lawyer and I was going to be arrested.  Told me I owed $300 for a payday loan I never received. Called my cell phone while I was at work. Told him I was recording the call for homeland security. He hung up.

Have been receiving these calls from " Mike Johnson or Steve Johnson" with such a heavy Indian accent, that now I start laughing when they say their name and make them repeat it several times.  Ask for the paperwork to be sent and the line goes silent.  Also, they will try to over talk you.  I told Mike or Steve, I couldn't talk at work and call me at another number (Homeland Security).  No more calls that day!!

i have been getting these phone calls too. i tell them they are full of it cause i am in no legal matters with anybody. and they are calling my work too. this crap has got to stop

been getting call from these "officers" since october.  say i owe for a payday loan in the amount of 300.00 dollars but will not tell me the company's name.  i asked for paper work to be sent to me proving I owe this debt.  have not seen a thing.  called one time claiming to be with the justice department.  have called my number several times looking for someone else. after they called my boss threating to send me to jail, i called my state attorney general office and the home FBI office here.  folks, this is a scam.  THEY ARE NOT DEBT COLLECTORS!!  first of all, going to jail for debt was done away with in 1776.  second, if they are going to sue you, they have to present the case in the county you live in and there is a long legal process that has to be done.  according to the attorney general's office and the FBI, they have had several complaints about these individuals but can not track them down because they are using Magic Jack and for several months after purchase, user's info can not be identified.  I personally have recorded several calls from these pricks to use for a future civil and criminal case that my attorney is prepared to go through with.  if anyone gets info besides the phone number, post it so these people can be stopped or contact the nearest FBI office.  bottom line folks, don't let them bother you. inform your boss or HR department that it is a scam and refer the calls to law enforcement officials.

They are calling and harassing me at my office and on my cell threatening me with 4 counts of bank fraud with jail time being sued and picked up at my office.  THey can not provide any paperwork electronically or hard copy.  Report them to law enforcement ASAP.

i get the same calls - the guy is an idiot and i wish they (the United States) would take some seriousness to these threatening phone calls to U.S. citizens - I called the FBI while I was on the phone with them and they said they couldn't do anything about it - they suggested that i ask him not to call and to not answer the phone - they said this was FTC's concern

They called talking extremely fast saying that I owe money for an online payday loan. Couldn't provide me with any paperwork but I was facing jail time. I must admit they scared me for a moment but I had to think on it. Ive never applied for an online loan..... They are also using this number 520-265-3439.

This [***] called my wife today looking for me.  I'm a licensed gunsmith and the heavy middle eastern accent sounded like the guy was identifying himself as caling from ATF.  He didn't actually give a name, even after he was asked who he was.  He just kept repeating "this is a call from ACS."  My wife asked him to explain what he was calling about if he wanted me to call him back.  She told him I wouldn't be calling him if he couldn't explain his reason for calling because neither of us have ever heard of ACS.  The guy stayed on the line...a bit of a heavy breather from what I'm told, but wouldn't say anything else after that.  My wife hung up the phone, and the guy called back 3 more times one call right after the other not saying anything during any of the calls, just breathing loud.  The last time he called, my wife let the voice mail pick up.  No message left.

My wife called the number directly after seeing your site here just to find out a name of the caller.  No problem getting through to the 845-445-2304 line.  The same accent answered the phone with a simple "Hello.  How can I help you?"  No company identification at all.  He was asked his name.  After several attempts to sound out the name, my wife asked him to spell it.  He was using the name Kevin Watson.  She informed him that he had called our phone earlier and was disovered as being a spam caller.  She advised him not to contact our number again for any reason or the FBI would be contacted with no further warning.  He immediately tried talking over her and said, "Do you know this is the Dept of Justice calling from Washington DC?"  After telling him he was full of crap and no further warnings to not contact us again would be offered, she hung up the phone.  He didn't call back.

Having the same issue threaten to block my social security and call my job if I did not call back by in the morning that they would not be able to stop the legal action.  He stated the name of his company as Federal Crime of Investigation.

This same number 845 445 2304 called me and my wife actually got scared and made a payment! The transaction had already gone thru and am now fighting it with the bank. He said his name was kevin watson with acl but the company that took the money was out of austin tx. its a company with 1 employee and annual sales of 35,000. I dont know what to do from here but hopefully this helps someone. i have thought about driving to austin but i dont think it will help and if i did i would have to figure out where to put the body:)
