This is related to the number 845-582-1444 and should be blocked on your phone because it is the same person which stated to another person "they had calls about my email and he wanted to help me block the spammers".

I  had the same call from  a  foreign speaking guy saying my Gmail  account  Hass been hacked. I am not going to let him get  away with  this- he called me @ work on my  cell and I want to report this # 845-582-1445 so no one else gets his calls or falls into the scamming!

I had them calling me too, I blocked 3 different nos. from them, then when i just didn't answer the calls, they left threatening voicemails, all in some unintelligible hindi accent.

Got a call yesterday and another just a few minutes ago. Didn't answer yesterday and they didn't leave a voicemail. Picked up today, and they called me by a nickname that I use occasionally, but especially when I want to hide whether I am male or female... I said that they had the wrong number and hung up. Caller had a heavy south-Asian accent. Then I blocked the number on my phone.

They just called my husband and he almost fell for it!!!!!  Beware!!

I just got a call from 845-582-1445 in NY, USA.  Guy with heavy accent said he was calling from Google.  Verified my gmail account, and stated that someone in Texas and Georgia had been using my email account and that the account was now compromised.  He wanted me to go to my computer and immediately change my gmail password.  I asked him if he could verify in any way that he was with google, or that my email was in fact compromised.  he said he could get me a toll free number to call.  I typed in the number to check then he hung up.

A man called claiming my personal device was being hacked through my Yahoo account. He was hostile and began yelling fear-inducing words, along with IT information that was nonsensical, when I asked for his name to call him back to authenticate the call. I looked him up instead. He used the name David Thompson.

845-582-1445 has been calling me all day. I finally answered and they hung up as soon as I answered. They do not leave messages or anything but thanks to this website I know to block the number. I saw they called someone in NY. I'm in Maryland. How do they get our numbers??

Caller has called 3 times in 2 days, all at varying times of the afternoon.  Never leaves a voicemail.   I searched the phone number and see many reports of spam/harassment on several different sites.

"John," who had a thick South Asian accent, called my cell phone number and claimed to be from AOL's Technical Support Department in New Jersey.He told me a hacker in China had been using my name to commit cybercrimes and that an AOL customer named Natalia Gelgo James Roberts had complained about spam from me. He urged me to get online immediately so he could give me directions on how to block the hacker, get the location and IPO address, and so on. He gave me the following number to call: 1-800-935-0817. His style was very repetitive and he had very scripted/incoherent responses when I asked him about some details, so I smelled a rat from the get-go.

ugh. I blocked this number yesterday, and they called again today from 845-582-1443. How many numbers am I going to have to block?

I received a call from 845-582-1444.  I was so upset because he stated that someone had hacked my gmail account and was sending out viruses to people in China and Toronto.  I was at work when he called so I could not access my computer as he was instructing me to do.  I asked if maybe I should just close out my gmail account and he said that would be great.  I am so glad that I looked up this number before going to that extreme.  It is still scary though that these people found our phone numbers from our email addresses.  They have nothing better to do than do this stupid stuff to us???

I have had two different numbers call me 1445 and 1443. They both are stupid as soon as I say I'm going to kill his arib [***] he hangs up. They supposedly sent me warning emails that I have been spamming people and I have over 1000 reports. Bull crap and my number ain't even connected to my email. They won't answer your questions. Then they send you a text with a code. I never give it to them

My mobile is my studio phone so I always answer with the company name and no one has ever spoken to me...the disconnect immediately. Annoying as they call eight to ten times a day.

Just got a call saying they were from Microsoft and said they had my computer information. I asked what information and they wanted me to go and look/read my info back to them from a setting in my computer. I think not!!! Hung up on them. The lady had a foreign accent that I could barely understand
