rate reduction on your utility bill

Recorded message from an unidentified person working for an unidentified company saying this call is in regard to something I recently received in the mail about an electricity rate reduction, instructing me to press 0 to speak with an operator, which I didn't do. I have not received any such notice in the mail. This is just another scam. I'm on the Do Not Call list, yet these calls have increased in number and frequency.

Probably an alternate energy supplier to your electric company. Unfortuantely it seems our electricity delivery companies are sharing our contact info (possibly requires under the deregulation laws?) with alternative suppliers who than call to get you to switch to them as your supplier.  Many of them are less than forthcoming in their approach so be wary.

This number calls EVERYDAY, sometimes twice, and there is no one on the line.  After many weeks of this I called the number back and reached a man who said they were an electric company and could lower my rate.  I explained to them that we do not pay electric as we rent our office and that they need to remove me from their calling list.  He assured me that the number would be removed.  The calls have not stopped.

I'm sending massive e-mails out about the harassment of this company. I urge all to do the same! I would never do business with pushy companies or charities! I have ceased all donating/ referals, etc. Fed up!

Same crap that other have reported... there seems to be no way to stop the calls... so, I'm determined to waste as much of their time as possible.  They ask for your current electric bill... tell them to hold on while you "find it"... then they'll ask for information from the bill... act confused and have them repeat the question... take as much of their time as you can... they get paid by the number of calls they make... the only way to hurt them is to make them waste time.

My client is disabled. We are keeping track of calls, recording them, their hang-ups, etc. I will prosecute the Company for harassment, because they are to monitor their telemarketers! It's gonna come down! Losers!

Constant calls daily,,,,,,,,,,,,, Called Local utility co. reported to them, Called the Federal trade commission and the PSC,,,,,,, Still the calls continue,,,,,, Who is going to step in and put a stop to this?????????????

I answered the call and got a robo message to press 0 to talk to someone.  I pressed 0 and waited a minute to talk to a human.  He asked me for info on my electric bill.  I asked for the name of his company.  HE HUNG UP ON ME.  I then called the number on caller ID (845-765-4843).  I got a recording which immediately asked me to "press 1" if I want to be put on a do not call list.  I pressed 1 and got a message saying they "apologize".  It also said it could take 48 hours to take affect.

Another telemarking scumbag

They alleged me I told them to F off and don't call me again or I'll shove that phone up their rear end purto Rican style. And I cussed them out too they left me alone now it's been a week so far.

Repeated, unwanted Robo calls.  Can't even reach a human being to say "STOP!"

Calls every night from this scammer! Saying they can lower my electric bill. Calls won't stop!!

They keep calling and calling - this is week - months
after being asked to be on "Do not call list".

Don't know who they are or why they are calling.
