Believe the other comments are correct. Got an 8:30AM call that left NO message. The other day the march of dimes called and left a message; therefore I believe the other comments are correct. It's the march of dimes

Earlier this week we started getting hangup calls from this number on our business answering machine.  They call at odd hours at both ends of the day.

I don't care if it's a call from the March of Dimes, teller-marketing, or my best friend...if you call my phone number at least have the decencies to leave a message.  Hangup calls are SO annoying especially when you run to the phone to pick it up just as they are hanging up without saying a word!!

IT'S THE MARCH OF DIMES. SOMETIMES THE CALLER ID SHOWS CALLER UNKNOWN, SOMETIMES IT SHOWS THE MARCH OF DIMES. THEY CALL ALMOST EVERY DAY NOW AT DIFFERENT TIMES. I GUESS THEY WILL NOT STOP TILL I ANSWER. TODAY IS SAT MAY 9, 2009. THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING EVERYDAY SINCE ABOUT MAY 2, 2009

They have called several times...even on Sunday...which i believe is illegal for solicitation calls...I answered one of the calls but no one responded...I doubt that the real March of Dimes would use tactics like this.

The call comes at various times of day, even on sunday mornings. No one says anything,they just hang up. Daily the march of dimes call, again without saying anything and hangs up. This is very annoying, at leat have the decency to say somthing

March of Dimes -- I agreed to solicit for them in July -- then got 2 hang ups from them, after racing to the phone. :(

ALL unsolicited calls need to be banned, period.

They have called me 12 times in the past two weeks at all times of the day.   Several calls were before 9AM.  I will never give them another donation knowing this will continue.

They are calling me so often that I feel like I could strangle someone! They call everyday, multiple times, for several weeks. I cant count how many times theyve woken my baby from his naps.

yup, my ID did say March of Dime ...does anyone know what they want??? I didnt tell them anything because the minutes I picked up the phone they hung up :p

I don't think this is the "real" March of Dimes. I have been receiving calls daily for over a month from the following phone numbers:

Sometimes the name says "Unknown," sometimes it says "March of Dimes," and sometimes it says "Thanks from Mod," and it changes often--even for the same phone number.
I have picked up and asked them to remove my number from their calling list but the line went silent both times. This is not typical "March of Dimes" behavior. I would suspect that some scam artist is spoofing the IDs/numbers.

I have received calls from 845-790-8092/3/4/5 almost daily for the last three weeks. When this happened before (about 2 months ago) I finally answered - and yes, it was the March of Dimes - and asked them to remove me from their calling list.

The next day they called again and I told them that they would not receive another penny from me if they ever called again. They responded that they didn't want my money, instead they wanted me to send letters to my neighbors requesting donations. Those very same neighbors were receiving the same daily calls, so I can just imagine how well a letter from me would have been received.

I told them I would never send letters from them, and asked again to be removed from their call list. That worked for a couple of months, but here we are again.

Calls Leaves no message Different times of day

Calls received everyday since 9/20/09.  The software used is an ID changer, or it is the March of Dimes, or terrorists.  Whatever, whoever, when they call tomorrow, just use a whistle before saying "good morning [***]"!
