This is the number that fake IRS scammers calling from 217-498-3011 want you to call.  Do NOT call this number as it is part of the scam.

Thank you JayWY.  I also received a call from that number today, it sounded very scammy.  Wouldn't they have better luck scamming us if they first mastered the English language?

I received the same call and was threatened by the caller and told if I did not respond something terrible would happen to me. This is a ridiculous threat and the IRS does not call you that is for sure! I called back and told them that I was from IRS and they disconnected the phone. LOL

I have received a call from this number. They claim to be IRS. They wanted me to call back or hear from my Attorney. I know that I have no issues with IRS. I will not call back nor answer any of there calls. They leave this number to call back but they call from a different number located in Rochester, IL  217-498-3011.

I did as well- told me I was suspected of tax fraud!  Ha.

I received the same call from Rochester IL. I am wanted for tax fraud. said to call 845-999-6057. They need to brush up on the English accent.

Called today, didn't leave a message.  Caller ID said Unknown.  I blocked the number..

Called, left no message. Will block number.

CID is "CRYSTAL", but it's the same old "Windows Security" scam.    Same old Indian/Pakistani accent.

Just received this call first time it said name unknown second time it said cyrstal

I got a call at 8AM stating she was from a computer service.. with a deep Indian accent.. These people never learn.

Called at 8:20 AM said he was from Microsoft.  Telephone id said Crystal

Called, no message, blocked the number. We don't answer numbers with no ID or that don't leave mesage.

This number called me at 6:11 am,  I picked up and said somebody better be dead or dying for you to call this early, they hung up

It may be 611PM where they're calling from, though. More often than not, calls at unreasonable hours are mainly checking for numbers that are in service and have some kind of answer. These are usually coming from overseas where it's during business hours. All they probably wanted to know is if you'd answer your phone, which you did, so they hung up.

I received a call from the same number. He stated the request was for service was Internet generated. Told him not to call again. He stated he would continue to call again even though I stated I  knew the call was a scam. Hung up and he called back again. Why can't someone do something about these scammers

They call & if no answer they hang up & call back later or another day

caller id said Crystal, I answered with one hello. Silence on the other end, I said nothing and then I heard goodbye.

I received 3 calls today from that number and answered 2.  Both are telling me my Windows computer has a virus and must be repaired. It was very hard to understand the person. As soon as I said I don't have a windows computer, they hang up.
