- Elliott, Robinson & CoThis is a business and we receive several calls during the day originating from this number. Once we pick up the phone we either get a busy signal or the call immediatly terminates and hangs up. We finally wrote down the number to find out who is calling us and called back. One customer service agent hung up on us as we were trying to tell them this is a business another took our number and said they would remove it from their call list.

- SharonI keep getting calls from this phone number to my cell phone. They keep asking for the same person that doesn't exist at my number. I keep telling them that they have the wrong number.

- mcFolks,
My experience is very similar to the accounts i've read hear, with one major difference: they asked for my social security #, not just the last four numbers of the social which is customary when dealing w/ credit card companies over the phone.
My experience went exactly like this:
I received a rather early morning phone call and answered. When I answered a woman stated my name and then the connection was abruptly lost. I called the number back and a woman answered saying "Chase". I told her I had just received a call that was abruptly lost and asked her what they needed. She said there were questions w/ my account and she then asked me for my social security #. I asked her which Chase account was the call regarding. She responded that she couldn't tell me until she had my social #. I smelled a rat and told her I wasn't going to give her my info. if she couldn't even tell me which account she was supposedly handling. Be careful this is very fishy.- Caller: Chase(supposedly)
- linniefinally got tired of the phone calls that had nothing to do with me.. So i have started to screen the phone number which come in.. If I don't know the number i don't answer the phone... I let my answering machine pick up and if the caller is that intereted in talking to me he/she will leave a message.... works for me..... especially them out of state calls.... uggggghhhhhhh....
- TSASSYHad a call come in and I didn't answer so I called back. A machine stated this call will be monitored or recorded. A lady came on the line and asked for my account number. I stated I don't have a Chase account. Her response was, "Did we leave you a message?" I told her no message was left. She stated, "Well, I don't know." Then I guess since you can't give me an account number disregard the call.

- mbthey also use 847-488-6050 and 6051. We are in a debt consolidation program and were told not to answer the call. They want to get a payment from us rather than negotiate with the debt consolidation company. I put their number in my cell phone and marked it "no ring" so when they call, I hear nothing.

- RickThey are a collection agency for credit card companies. The call about 5 times a day.
I have temporary stop them by saying, I'm going to record this phone call. Once you say that they will hang up. If the company says don't do that. Then you can hang up and that will stop the calling temporarily maybe for a month.
Try that it worked for me.- Caller: Credit Card Services

- SharonI just received a phone call and all the caller did was breathe occasionally on the other end during the voicemail.

- SharonI just called that number and they identified themselves as Chase Manhatten Credit Card Company. The representative was very nice and professional and pulled up my phone number only to discover that it was supposedly removed from their calling list. YET THEY KEEP CALLING ME! my number was officially removed November, 2008!

- CK| 1 replyI think we should all file harassment against them. I've been getting calls from them for two months, 5 times a day. And I'm so fed up with these calls.
- sdthey several times each day. Its from Chase credit cards, and I imagine its the collection dept, as my bill is severely delinquent.

- Ticked Off| 2 repliesThese clowns call from 7:35AM till 8:50PM up to 3 times an hour. If you answer there is a recorded message to "wait for the next available operator". They will never leave a message. I assume they are Chase Credit Card, but I don't have a credit card. I have talked to several very rude people from their company that want to play 20 questions, but will not answer any themselves. If you ask for a supervisor they hang up. JP Morgan Chase SUCKS! Don't bail these idiots out! Let them fail and their A**hole employees loose their jobs.

- Ticked Too replies to Ticked OffJust did a look up on this number. RIGHT ON! I also get them from 847-488-6050 & Unknown Number; same garbage. I have never had a credit card and wouldn't have one with these jerks!
- bh replies to Ticked OffI think "Ticked Off" put it right!
They treat people like dirt and think that burning out their recorder will make you send in money you don't have. They are already getting my tax money and I have paid more in interest than I borrowed, yet I still own almost what I borrowed. They raised my interest rate, lowered my limit and are charging an overdraft fee on top of the interest. CROOKS! - fedupIt is to the point that now they are having people that can't even get my name right leave messages that simply state that they are from, "card services". I don't call them back, nor do I pick up. I do have a card with Chase, but it is paid off. Why they keep calling me is unknown, and I don't care to know.

- dept manWhen they call say that persons # has been changed give them this # 1-888-870-7770 this is the Governors office in Mass. We need law changes let the governors office get a taste of what it is like to be harassed. Give this number to all creditors !!!!!
- past the breaking pointthey call every 10 to 12 minutes, they never leave a message and when you tell them they have a wrong number they start YELLING at you. they call from 6100, 6050 & 6051 and sometimes they even block their number. In the state of Washington our AG has a policy against harassment like this and I am sending the last two months cell phone bills to his office showing what this company has been doing. they also start calling before 8:00 a.m. I do believe there is an anti-harassment policy on the federal books somewhere and by this time they owe me in the $1,000's because I told them in May to stop calling and they had the wrong number - and I have the cell phone bills to prove how many times they have called since then and the recorded call to prove I asked them not to call
