Said something about my Sam's Club card not being validated? No possible- got it in a Sam's store .Said Ok and hung up

I think this is someone runing a scan. Tey called my husband and said he needed to activate his card and asked him for his card number.  My husband called SAMS and reported it and cancelled his card immediately.  Sams Clubs also said this is not one of their numbers.

The recording said we had to activate a PayPal credit card we had received in Oct. We actually had never activated or used the card and had recently canceled it. I didn't respond, just let the recording play. I believe they said to punch a number, later they gave me a number to call to activate it. It finally disconnected when I did nothing.

While the voicemail message was incomplete, the part of the automated message that was there mentioned something about my needing to activate some card.  As I hold no card of any kind that requires activation, this was either an error, sales ploy or fraudulent call.  I sent them a terse e-mail requesting that they remove me from any database they have - and strongly suggested that they NOT call me again.

The company is a just a automated call service contracted by Sams and other companies offering credit to their subscribers.  If you check the number they give you to call for information, it is usually for the company issuing credit directly (like Sams, or Banana Republic, etc. etc.).  They're legit.

Got a call from this number and it was an automated message from Allstate asking if the tow truck I requested had arrived.It was a legitimate call

I received a call from a woman, who asked personal information,when I said have a nice day without giving her any information,she called me back on a private line to inform me I was ugly on the phone,I again told her to have a nice day and hung up. Who are these idiots,they think by bullying us we are going to give them personal information.

Received this call to confirm rodside assistance from Allstate Motor Club. This is legitmate....it is a call service provided by several companies for their ....we do not have a Sams club card, but we do have BJ's ans Sears who also uses this number

The number is an automated messge from Allstate confirming dispatched service has arrived or do you need to speak with someone.  I've had the service a few months, used 3 times, it's the same follow up call I get with each service request.

This number is from Allstate Insurance, running bogus sales pitch calls.  What will this stupid company stoop to next?

I used my phone this morning and it said my phone number was 847-572-2285.  I don't think so I don't know who's number this is but it isn't mine!  What is going on?  Reporting this info right away, scary.i

This must be a routing service scammers use, I have a guy from this # call me all the time trying to scam me, same guy and # every time but different name and different scam.

long distance disconnected-don't know why, so I called vartec, anyway-she said the number that came up on their caller id was 847-572-2285 (not my number).  Wondering who this is.
