Another stupid robo call from ADT wanting you to buy their alarm systems and their crappy alarm monitoring.

Bottom Line: This is a scare tactic to get you to cough up way too much money for an alarm system.

READ THIS IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN MY EXPERIENCE
Yes, it is CRAPPY! When I originally bought their system, it was all ADEMCO alarm components (good stuff; really!), but the "free" part of their pitch is bogus.

You pay over $30/Month for their monitoring service and tie you up for 3 years.
And YES, they can jump the rates on you anytime they want (happened to me twice). Occasionally you can actually talk to a person there that speaks English well enough to understand them.

THERE IS NO SUPPORT for any 'system' issues. They tell you to call your local dealer, so I tried the installer's number; it was disconnected (2 months after the install). If I wanted support, they'd be happy to bill me $65 plus mileage for the call.

ADT just gets these "teams" thrown together to travel to areas that they "hot spot" from time to time.

Just received a robocall from this number about reducing my electric bill.  I couldn't find any option to be put on a do-not-call list.

Received a call from this number.  Caller ID shows "CAUTION".  Don't know who it is.  I don't want people calling me during dinner hour.

This company called and when I pressed the number "5" to talk to a rep. the person immediately told me that they would call back if I didn't have my electric bill on hand, when I interupted her to be asked to be placed on their do not call list, she hung up.

No reason to answer anything with that caller ID.

Caller ID read CAUTION,  so I took caution and did not answer it- instead came here.
Guessing the reports of it being ADT are correct, as they have been contacting me recently...

Robo calls 3 and 4 times a day. I finally stayed on the line for a real person. Company is Power Choice; they claim to be a broken for Com-Ed. Person answering refused to give me his name. When I said I wanted to be taken off their list, he hung up on me.
