847-592-8847 - Credit Card offer to lower interest rates.  Numbers are disconnected. They are a SCAM.  Scam is to get the Zip Code first and then say that they need to verify that one account is in good standing with a balance of $3k or more. The then ask for the card number and / or the expiration date. Finally they ask for the card number. Most of the time they will ask for the last four numbers of your Social Security number. Then they put you on hold and check the card using the phone number on the back of the card. I wasted about 15 minutes of their time giving a card that had been replaced. Gave fake zip code and etc.   Waste their time if you like however don't give them a real working card number. KEY WORDS, Fraud, ID Theft, Scam, Steal ID, Crime, Fraud Charges.

I got the same call this morning. It's more than likely Card Services or some other scammers trying to find working phone numbers.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

The card service (aka "debt reduction") scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them they will have NO available credit remaining!

I got a call from that number this morning - when informed that it was an illegal call because we are on the no call list, the person, female, became very rude. She tried to say that my cards are at risk, but I know better as I am in touch with the companies. If there is an issue with my cards, I deal strictly with the company issuing the card, not a call center making illegal calls.  All the people who receive this call need to go together and file a class action law suit. Individually we can only get about $500 per person and it is much harder to do as it works better when there are more than one complainant. FCC does not do anything but file a report and tell you to sue them individually. I see no reason for a no call list if it has no teeth.

I of course am on the DoNotCall List and report all calls, but it does no good.

We need to report every call to the FTC and more important call your Congressman and tell him or her that the DNC is not been enforced by the FTC. Ask the congressman to introduce oversight over the FTC and hold them accountable. After all, our tax dollars are paying the FTC salary. We need to get our money’s worth. If the people on the FTC cannot do or do not have the knowledge to find the violators, they need to be replaced.

Do not answer these types of calls. They are scams. We do not answer any number we do not know. Our number was spoofed about 2 months ago by scammers.

" I see no reason for a no call list if it has no teeth."  Neither do they... that's why they call... several times a week! They are relentless... I have tried everything from whistling, putting them on hold, letting them listen to my radio or t.v. for a while to keeping them on the line for as long as I can (giving fake info) ... but still... we get them! Ahhhh!  Who can we contact to sue them?

Wish they made AMMO to send over the telephone lines. As I would have so much FUN 3 times a day when all these scammers and Politicians call me.

Keep getting these calls all the time. Am sick and tired of receiving them.Would love to put a stop to them. I have tried everything I can think of.

This company places calls to numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by not having an operator on the line when the phone is answered, using an automated dialer without an operator on the line when the phone is answered, and playing a recorded message without an operator to pause or stop the recording and answer questions. The recording says that this is your final notice about getting your credit card interest rates lowered. When you get to an operator, they further violate the TCPA by hanging up rather than providing a phone number or physical address when asked. This is clearly a scam trying to get credit card information from unsuspecting consumers. Do not provide this scammer any personal information.

These SCAMMER Morons ironically show their colors right in the Caller ID.

Their robocaller rang my number 4 times and then hung up.

How can these idiots expect anyone to go with their foolish moronic scam?
There must safely be some very stupid people out there (maybe old Alzheimer people who should have phone guards to help them not get scammed)... But if anyone else with an over 80 IQ let's these people scam them it is a very sad state of time!
