Also getting calls from this number...do not answer and they never leave a message.

I called back and the receptionist answered quickly...F-A-R... so I asked what? She said FAR...I asked her what that stands for? She said "Did you get a call from us?"  I said yes, what is the full name of your company?"  She answered "I'll transfer you!"  I told her No, I just want the name of the company and I immediately heard hold music.  Some guy answered I said " I didn't ask to be transferred I asked the name of your company."  he answered..."Financial Asset Resolution" very fast and then tried to talk over me asking me my name...I just hung up...ugh!

i got 3 calls from them in one day. never answered them.

Financial Asset Resolution, also known as F-A-R or FAR; are the bottom of the barrell debt collectors. These people make their living at attempting to collect on old debts that no-one else wants to go after, legallly or not.
So here is a bit of advice. Use your Caller ID: 847-637-5612, Never answer their phone call - if you do, they'll try to trap you into paying for something that you may not even owe any longer. DON'T talk to them, just hang up. If you do talk to them ... be perpared to do some screaming. They have really nasty people that work there and are professionals at making you feel like crud, just so they can get a few bucks out of you for a commission. DON'T talk to them. Mark the phone number on your wall and when they call, DON'T answer.

According to the other posts these are bill collectors...if that is true they are really reaching as anything unpaid arond here would be at least 15 years old!  NEVER answer anything you don't recognize is my advice...and no msg means you're on a rotating dial system, so expect more calls!!

Yes this number 847-637-5612 does belong to a Collection agency, Financial Asset Resolution, LLC. I called this # back about an hour ago and talked to a Mrs Johnson. Then I filed harassment charges with the FTC and Missouri Attorney General's office. This company also uses other # from other states to consistently harass people. The Owner of this company is Randy Nay Address is 1305 Wiley Rd, Ste 129, Schaumburg, IL 60159. Company # is 888-959-8878. Email address for Randy Nay is randy.nay@financialassetresolution.com.  Feel free email randy and to file complaints to the FTC and your Attorney Gen same as I did.

I keep receiving calls from 8476375612, and no one responds when I answer, and they leave blank 5 second messages.  This is now happening multiple times DAILY and it is extremely distracting/annoying.

I paid a debt through this company. Not only did they update me as PAID IN FULL....It significantly increased my score. They are now offering Free 45 min credit consultation with the settlement of your debt. Most people don't realize when your social security number is attached to a debt, a creditor can still refuse you, or give you a nasty interest rate. Understand an old debt, IS A VALID DEBT.  You can't go to the electric company and run up a bill, 10 years later come back and the bill isn't there.  This company did an outstanding job with their service to my credit.
