Attempting to contact me about a civil matter.  Calls my mom, my dad and my brothers house and leaves messages for me, but when they call my cell phone they do not leave a message, RUDE

Same here... called late Saturday night, too. Left a message on my cell from John Powers of the Law Offices of John Sullivan, but apparently didn't know who he was calling. The message wasn't for me.

This guy called and said he would be in touch with my employeer I have never heard of him nor did he explain what the call was about was threatening so I hung up he called back and left a nasty message which I have pulled from my phone and handed to my attourney! He advised me to get one so now I have and I am using him to sue this guy!

ATTENTION!!! THIS GUY CALLED JOHN POWERS CONTACTED MY CLIENT AND STATED THAT SHE OWED MONEY AND SHE WAS ALREADY IN COLLECTIONS HOWEVER; HE WOULD NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION OF THE PERSON OR COMPANY SHE OWED MONEY TO. ONCE SHE BECAME SUSPICIOUS, SHE HUNG UP ON HIM AFTER ASKING HIM FOR AN ADDRESS, FAX, BUSINESS LICENSE # AND WHO HE REPRESENTED.

JOHN POWERS THEN CALLED BACK AND LEFT A HARASSING MESSAGE THAT HE WOULD CONTACT HER EMPLOYER AND THAT IT WAS IN HER BEST INTEREST TO OBTAIN A LAWYER. SHE THEN CONTACTED THE COPS AND THE COPS APPARENTLY CALLED HIM AND HE WOULD NOT RELEASE INFORMATION OF WHO HE WAS OR WHO HE WORKED FOR. HE CONTINUED TO HUANG UP ON THE DETECTIVES ONCE HE FELT CORNERED.

WE HOPE THAT THE COPS DO CATCH THIS GUY IF HE IS BOGUS.

WE ALL KNOW THAT COLLECTORS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO HARASS US AT OUT PLACE OF BUSINESS. MY CLIENT DID A BACKGROUND AND CREDIT CHECK ON HER SELF AND FOUND THAT SHE HAD NO OUTSTANDING BILLS SHE OWED.

BE CAREFUL OF THIS GUY!! HANG UP ON HIM THEN CALL THE COPS ASAP.

IF HE IS LEGIT, HE IS NOT REPRESENTING HIMSELF PROPERLY NOR IS HE RUNNING HIS BUSINESS IN A PROPER MANNER.

Who is this guy? He calls someone in my family telling them I am being sued.  I have no credit card, nor do I know anyone who lives in IL, where this number is from.  He got my family member all worried, and they called me and told me.  Clark Howard had said something about people that are calling people that have someone with the same name as someone who owes a debt trying to scare people into paying something they don't owe, and I wonder if this is what this guy is trying to do.  The family member he called was a cop, and did not tell him if they even knew someone with my name, and this guy started telling them everything.  Stupid man.

The same John Powers from Law offices of John Sullivan left me a message late Saturday night about a civil suit in IL. Sounds like a scammer to me!

Same person John Powers, supposedly called from Law offices of John Sullivan using a "no numbner" around 8:30 pm and left a message to call back using 1-847-675-5350, I called him back he would not anwser any questions and hung up on me. I called him back and started asking him questions and he said "this is harrasment" and hung up again 1-847-675-5350, when you call that number the message gives you his CELL phone number of 1-630-888-6704.
