Caller ID says Unavailable. I answered but there was no reply on the other end. It plays "The number is out of service" when I call back.

Picked up a call from this number after our answering started to answer it. Nobody replied when I said "Hello." Caller ID says "Unavailable."

They asked for my husband by first name, and only would say it is "Chris" ( man) calling with no details

Received a call from 847-805-0910 (read unavailable on caller ID)and asked fro my husband by first name. When I said he wasn't home, he said he would try back later. When the number was called back a recording said the number was not in service.

They asked for me by name as well.  The woman on the phone, who I had to ask to turn up the volume, said they were a charitable organization.  I didn't cathc the name but they claimed to do the same sort of things that Make-A-Wish does.  She was really persistent in asking for money.  FIrst $50, then I $25, and finally $12 when I kept turning her down.  She did not leave any contact info with me.

Call was at about 7pm on a weeknight -- my wife says the guy asked for me by name, and that he was kind of sarcastic with her.  She asked if she could take a message, and he said I should call Jim Brummel at 847 805 0910.

I did not call him back.

Called asking for donations for the Wishing Well Foundation. I told them I was out of work ;) and couldn't contribute. "Any amount would help..." "I really can't" How about just $25? How about $12? I said "How about you stop calling me?!"

Try going to white pages .com type in the # it will tell you who the service provider is then try callng them to complain.

Someone called me just know.  I answered and they hung up.  Number is out of service when I call them.  Complete bull...

The call(unavailable) came in at 9:00pm last night!  For those of us that have children and get up at 5:30am, this is late!  The caller(woman)asked if I was Stephanie and I replied "yes, but do you know it is 9:00 at night?"  The caller replied "yes, I am aware of that."  I was so irritated by being woke up, I replied "Maybe you should try calling at a better time!"  I didn't give her a chance to reply...I just hung up.

Same thing every month, but always a different number - this time 847-805-0910.  Say's they're collecting on behalf of McHenry County (Illinois) sheriff's fund.  Every time (now at least a dozen times) we tell them we're not in McHenry County, and on do-not-call list.  I contacted McHenry County Sheriff, they confirm it's a scam, and they don't do anything about it, include not taking the caller ID number to get it shut down.

This was a weird call.  It was almost as if the the caller's cell had dialed my number without his knowing - I could hear the caller holding a conversation on the other end.  I think.  My line is staticky so it could've been that he was trying to talk to me.  I did hear him say, "I don't need this ****." (edited for reader's eyes)

DO NOT ANSWER IF THIS NUMBER CALLS!!

i pick up the phone right and im like hello and on the other end is a ghost!!  my phone is haunted now i cannot get the ghost out if someone could help me out here please emaile me at larrydude100000@aol.com

this dude calls and asks for my old lady and i says, ' identify yur self '.. and this idiot dude says, "well, i 6 ft. 1 and have brown hair...." .... so i hung up! ....also, caller id says unavailable.

847-805-0910 called me and said, "Is Mrs. (my last name) there?" It sounded like a girl. When I said, "Hang on," they just hung up on me. "Out of service" message when I tried calling them back.

Sounded like a young girl on the phone, and when i said hello she said my name enthusiastically as if she knew me.  i said yes, after she said my name and she hung up.  when i called back the number it's out of service.

Called around 8:55 tonight, phone stopped ringing before message machine picked up.

Asked for me by first name. Told the male caller I was my brother and that I was not home. Rudely hung up.
