Portfolio Recovery calls from many numbers. 847-994-2550,847-944-2555,847-994-2445,847-994-2557 etc.,etc.

I got a call this morning at 9:12 am from 847-994-2450. I had my ringer off because I get so many spam messages every day. When I checked my phone this morning for messages, I saw this phone number but there wasn't any message. I rarely get phone calls from this area code so I had to find out what it was.

Thank you for providing this service so I could see if other people are receiving calls from this number.

Yes it's a debt collector!

Got a call from this number last week but was not home to answer it and no message was left on my answering machine. Then last night at 8:55pm I receive a call from the same number but when I answered the phone there was nothing but a low humming noise, after repeated attempts to see if there was anyone on the other line I hung up. I was just very pissed off because the type of job I have requires me to work in shifts and nothing ticks me off more than when a moron calls, wakes me up, and does not even say anything. There may have been someone on the other line but maybe I wasn't speaking the right language. Maybe next time i will try Latin instead. Bottom line is that even if this company is who they say they are, why are they call me because i don't have any debts with these people or anyone else.
