This is Portfolio Recovery Services.  They purchase old debt and try to collect on it.

Unbelievable ... these lowlifes called me on Christmas weekend.  There's a special place in hell for them.

These fools called me Sunday December 26, 2010 @ 5:28PM from some crappy automated line. The recording gave another number to call them back at which didn't work and when you call back 847.994.2542 there is a problem with their phone system. I don't have any unpaid debts! I went online just to find they are just another batch of crooks. I hope their whole little criminal enterprise burns.

They just called when I was out moving snow. This company loves to call many times a week, and have done so for about a year. I have never once answered the phone so you would think they would get the hint.

If you answer they will call all the more.

This "company" is trying to collect a debit that I filed in my bankruptcy years ago. Which, of course, is not legal. They didn't respond to letters from the court nor did they bother showing up in court and now they want to get paid when the government already let them write it off on their taxes as a loss. Try all you want, it's not happening, because I'm not answering. It has gotten so bad that we just took the phone out and only check voicemail when we receive an e-mail saying there's a new voicemail, no more ringing 24/7 from who know where. Never again will I get a landline because of these harassing phone calls over something they should have addressed it in court.  At least during the bankruptcy they would have gotten paid something instead of what they're going to get now and that is absolutely nothing.

I am on a do not call list and you try to call a fax machine. How friggin desperate are you? You won't get a dime out of me either. Chapter 7 almost three years ago, you snooze, you lose! Call me again and I sue.

This company is located in Franklin Park, IL somewhere on Grand ave. I am filing a police report for harrassment and will post report num ber, name and address for the rest of you in Illinois.

Same nonsence;I just had my house refianced at a very,very low rate wherein I have no debts current or past,yet these idiots are calling me Christmas weekend and the day after claiming I owe them money !! When  and if they call again I'm putting them on hold and hook-up a three way call with my local police dept or FBI !!

Caller ID shows Portfolio Recov. Check out the web and found Portfolio is a collection company.  I have no debts.  
I guess someone sold my telephone number.  I sure hope not.
