An alternate number for First Source Advantage. They haven't called me for a while, but when I got home from work tonight there was a voicemail from an Indian guy (I could actually understand the message this time) requesting that my mother call him back immediately regarding an Amex debt. She has not lived with me for several years, and has no Amex debt since her card has only been used twice and is on my father's account, so he pays the bill. You'd think a legitimate collection agency would have the correct contact/financial information on file, so this is indeed suspicious. Another interesting piece of info; their website has been taken down, and when you search the company name, a bunch of websites with numerous consumer complaints about unauthorized checking account withdrawals and harassment from the company show up. I also learned from one of these sites that the company is breaking the law if they call you more than once a day unless you keep letting the machine get it; you have to tell them to stop calling when you answer their first call of the day. If they start calling daily again, I will report them to my local Attorney General's office as other posters have done.
